I just got cool runnings and miracle off Amazon prime. The Olympics made me do it. I'm sure they will be both funny and inspirational as they've always been.

Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri 9.5/10

Very good cast and great performances. Quite a lot of elements to sift through too. Loss, grief, regret, bitterness...all prevalent throught.

The Cloverfield Paradox.

4.5/10.

I watched it because my sister kept telling me how good it was. It was pretty lame imo. If I can watch the entire thing, that's enough for me to give it at least a 3, and this movie had enough interesting moments that made me give it 1.5 more. But overall, there were a few things that weren't explained at all, or well enough, and a lot of corny/cheesy scenes.

Black Panther 8/10

Visually, it's a beautiful movie. The soundtrack is awesome and I'm not even a Kendrick Lamar fan. I think that, so far, Michael B Jordan's Killmonger is the best villain so far throughout the MCU. Michael B was awesome as was the whole cast. I know review wise, it's got the highest ratings of any super hero movie. I personally don't hold in that high regard, but I will say it's one of the best MCU movies to date. I had a lot of fun with this. Definitely worth experiencing on the big screen.

I think my main complain would be that Michael B Jordan should have had more screen time.

I agree with that.

Justice League 2/10

The acting was terrible.

Tatiana Maslany should have been allowed to play every role in the film.

I know you're taking the piss but quite honestly, the movie would have been at least watchable. But there's only so much Tat can do with that dialogue.

3 Billboards. Loved it. 4 out of 5 due to some inconsistencies and unrealistic plot points.

Killmonger is definitely my favorite MCU villain.

1. Killmonger
2. Winter Soldier
3. Loki

Can’t wait for Thanos but winter soldier so far for me was my favorite

You can make a case killmonger isn’t a bad guy. He was a bit extreme but he wasn’t totally wrong in what he believed

As I lay dying (Netflix) 7/10
Based on a William Fualker book. Directed/Stars James Franco.

It's very depressing; about a poor family burying their dead mother.
Film's shot pretty weird using a lot of split screens. Good acting, story about nothing, but things happen.

I like Franco's works. He also shot a movie called "Child of God", based on a novel by Cormac McCarthy.
I tried to read that book like 2 times and gave up both times because I had no idea what the heck was going on.
After watching the movie I read the book with much more ease. I'm gonna try the Faulkner book now.
