This is a good list of Netflix horror movies.

I really enjoyed this one. Plays out like an extended Twilight Zone episode, but stellar atmosphere. I would give it a solid eight.

(Yes it is all in Spanish...if that is something you cannot handle)

BTW...the last movie I actually did watch was finally seeing The Last Jedi. Call me all the names you want, but I thought it was a great movie. Far from flawless, but surprised me more often than any other film in the franchise. I could watch the scene with Luke and Yoda countless times...it may be the best four to six minutes of Star Wars ever.

9/10

(Although I should probably drop it to eight for that horrifying blue milk scene)

Ant-Man and the Wasp was enjoyable, but one of the weaker MCU entries.

12 Monkeys...Overall film entertaining 6/10.... Bruce Willis, standard Bruce Willis.... Have seen this movie probably 10 times or so, but the part that I think is the best is what Brad Pitt is giving Bruce the tour of the E ward... IMO, pretty good scene, had to be tough for Brad...

Jurassic World...bam bam lots of noise. Been there, done that. 3/10.

Tag...a little different and interesting. Liked the final scenes. 6/10.

Tag is a totally dumb movie..... but that's exactly what I was in the mood for when I saw it so I felt well entertained.

Can't believe that shit is really based on true story.

Annabelle Wallis is kind of nice to look at too.

rewatched The Last Jedi last night and it was a real chore. I thought maybe there'd be some interesting stuff that I couldn't appreciate on the first go round, but nope. All the reasons I didn't like it the first time still hold up, and there was nothing new to enjoy.

I rewatched it also the other night and sat there in disbelief that Disney allowed that drivel to start the downfall of Star Wars. Such a shame

It Follows

5/10. I am giving it an English teacher grade, should probably get like a 3/10 but there are legitimately worse movies.

Wholly uninteresting characters, supposed to be horror but is honestly just more confusing. Odd unexplained ambiguous time setting. Very little is actually explained.

The Godfather 9.5/10

I actually had never seen this movie before. Uh, it's pretty good. Need to watch part II now.

Fun fact, The Godfather is only 1% higher than It Follows on rotten tomatoes. Guess the critics were huffing glue when watching the latter?

I thought the Godfather was considered a film, not a movie.

The Godfather has a 9.3 on RT. It follows has an 8.1...

Anyway, to me the ambiguity of the setting was one of the more interesting things about It Follows. I like the fact that you cant place the decade the story is taking place in.

The tomatometer score is 97% vs. 98% for the Godfather, which is different than the average critic rating. Just means that nearly the same amount of critics thought the movie was "fresh" as did the Godfather.

So,yea, I see your point regarding the average rating. That's still very high IMO for this movie. Audience rating was 3.5/5

To be honest, me trying to figure WTF was going on with the setting was what kept me slightly interested in this movie. Didn't seem like there was much purpose to it though in the end.

Seems like the movie is supposed to be a bit of a throwback to some older horror movies? Plus, the apparent metaphor to STD spreading in pre-AIDS time.

Part II is also a great film. Part III is an excruciating movie.

I mean, I don't think there's really much of a difference between film and movie, is there? Words are interchangeable, and UK uses film while America uses movie more often.

But yea, from what I understand, watch II, skip III.

It's an old CCS joke, film and movie. Just messing about.
