Blue Ruin 8/10

Gritty sort of movie about revenge/murder made by the guy who made Green Room. If you haven't seen Green Room that's pretty good, too.

I don't recommend Tau. Demon Seed was a much better film, done decades ago. Tau is trite.

I really enjoyed the ranch even though it's pretty dry somehow. Best word I could use to describe it. The actors are good, and the story line is decent enough. Has some funny moments.

The dad reminds me a ton of my own father which is what originally hooked me into it.

I think what I liked about it was half hour episodes so it went by quick without much filler

Watched how it ends it was ok and watchable and enjoyable not great at all. It was a cross between the road which was incredible and 2012 which was wtf. So 6/10

Like I said, A Quiet Place gets worse the more you think about it.

Since I loved the theater experience, and like everyone involved in the movie...I don't completely deconstruct or tear it down the way I normally would anything else.

As long as people don't pretend it's one of the best recent horror movies, I'm fine. I mean...Don't Breathe had a similar concept and was much more impressive.

I seen the preview and can't believe how aged Tom Cruise is.... his face is starting to droop.

I hadn't really noticed how much he had aged until I watched the first Mission Impossible a couple of days ago. I really respect him for doing his own stunts, especially some of the crazy shit he does in the mission impossible movies.

James Gunn was fired today and will no longer be apart of Disney/the Guardians of the Galaxy franchise. Someone found insensitive tweets from him years ago. I can't defend what he said in those tweets, but I just don't understand people. Why the **** would you go through years of tweets? It's amazing the amount of time people have on their hands

Really looking forward to Mission Impossible...I've heard very good things about Fallout

It's going to be my first IMAX screening since nature documentaries during elementary school field trips.

First Man and The Meg, which I plan on seeing, were also shot in IMAX. I'm going to be doing it a lot now that the AMC A-list thing gives you it with no extra cost.

I mean, you could just go back and delete the tweets

Not that this is the case here, but I find it fascinating that people don't immediately delete all of their social media accounts and start over the second they become famous. How many drafted players are gonna get in trouble for tweets made in HS before the rest catch on?

The tweets were from 2008-2011. He probably forgot all about them. You have to be a pretty big loser to go back literally 10 years of tweets.

I wish I had an imax theater near me. Closest one is about an hour and twenty minutes away so I only go when it’s something I really really want to see in that format. The A List thing is amazing. I’d use it all the time if I had a decent AMC near me. Can’t beat it if you see a lot of movies.

I read the first book in the that series (altered carbon) and its real good. Not sure if you are one of those "read the book first" types, but if you are, it's worth a read.

I didn’t read the book but I do usually enjoy the book more so then the movie/show.
