Perhaps if it were the right boat- mine would fit a 4 person mosh pit and 3 would wind up in the drink.

Technically, yes- But I dont know anyone here IRL so I dont give a rats ass how smart or dumb anyone comes across.
Facebook, twitter and instagram, sites where I would see people I actually know are the ones I consider true social media and avoid.
It would be heartbreaking to find out someone I know on a surface level is ommy 2.0.

Beyond that, I actually do feel like it cheapens relationships. If someone I like or care about gets great news, I want to hear it face to face, not just click a thumbs up. Someone is having a hard time, I would rather talk to them instead of typing a couple sentences.
You can be on Twitter and know absolutely no one personally. That's how my Twitter is set up. It doesn't require you to use your real name either.

I'm sure I'll have a few to add, but these are the things poping up in my head right now, in no particular order

- Star Wars - normally I love shit like this, but never could get into Star Wars
- Cake and/or Cupcakes - gross
- Macaroons - these are just horrible. May be the worst thing I've ever ate. worse than cake
- Starbucks - overpriced
- Really big boobs - give me a fit bod with a nice ass over fat floppy tits
- Reality TV - no comment needed
- Mom Recipe Blogs - I just want the recipe, not a novel about your shitty life
- Apple Airpods - you look like a ******.

I agree with everything here, except cake. You can make so many different types of cake, so it's hard to bundle them all into one. Store bought cakes are pretty shit though, all the good bakeries went into such a mass produced cycle while having the balls to call their cakes, "Home-Made" or Fresh Baked, when it was just pulled off a delivery truck.... Fondant is disgusting too, stop being lazy when decorating your cakes. Eating with your eyes is for critics, not true foodies.

And can I add the Beatles? They are okay, but all the things people say to claim they are *objectively* great, is basically a way to ignore all the black influences they had or just jump on the 60s teenybopper nostalgia, just a small upgrade over being a Monkees fanatic.

Objectively I can understand people following stars, athletes, bands or directors they like- But I dont care much about what they have to say or show.

...plus it is nice to get surprises. El camino was out before I heard it was a thing. I go from knowing nothing about it being filmed to finding out about it and being able to watch it.
I am a sucker for stephen kings books, and it is cool as hell to walk in to a store and put my hands on a brand new book I wasnt expecting.

nothing against you @Burque , but your posting reminded me of living in New Mexico, and something else I hated at restaurants there

'Red, green, or Christmas?'
'None at all, thanks'
'You have to pick one'

I don't particularly love chile peppers

I am sure you got the: "What do you mean no chile?!" quite frequently. That is a foreign concept to a lot of people here.

Starbucks. Their gingerbread holiday coffee was good. But they removed it from the menu this year. SMH.

Oh come on the Boomer thing is great it makes boomers so muddy and it's not supposed to make boomers like you and @number51 muddy

after seeing #7 thru #9 I was expecting #10 to be wings but looks like #10 is supposed to cover that and everything else Boomers don't like?

When it turns into a shitty meme, with t-shirts and cash, no, it's not really that funny anymore.

I think people are muddy enough these days.

As to #10, okay.

You're only like 15 years away from being a boomer!

Oh I didn't know there were T-shirts. I actually didn't know it was such a meme as it's become until yesterday. I just thought it was kind of a fringe @Grimson thing that produces results.

I hate it too right now, but for completely different reasons ?
If what my family members who do follow the Bears tell me is true...I sympathize--sincerely: a Blackhawks fan.

Agreed. I seriously don't get the hype surrounding The Beatles.

P.S. The Fuckin' Monkees?
