Oh I am far from a Grinch... my nieces all get stuff.
My Mom is getting an Nvidia Shield and I am setting her up with various streaming options, she wanted to cut the proverbial cord.
To me the Xmas season can be over-the-top.
Also, I prefer gatherings during seasons with nicer weather... as I get older I find it odd we have 3 of the most crucial holidays clustered around some of the shittiest weather lol... Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years.

I've become very anti-gift for myself.
I don't need gifts, and when people ask me to give them a list it creates a task I have to complete.
I am happy to give gifts... buy family stuff they otherwise wouldn't have the disposable income for, but I really don't have a list of things I want that I can't afford to buy for myself.
