15 games left. More wins the better. Honestly, I'd like to see them seeded as high as possible, which is probably going to be 5th. Might catch the Preds, but catching Detroit or St Louis is a tall order this far behind with only 15 left.

Come in 4th and play Detroit? How does that work?

I think he mean, come in 5th and play Detroit or St. Louis...that's my guess.

I'd prefer the Hawks staying right where they are, and playing whatever team wins the Pacific. I would take any of those teams over playing any of the teams in the Central.

Give me Detroit or St. Louis....I want the sweaty palms and lying in the fetal position in the first round.

it means St. Louis wins the division, and we come in 4th, Detroit 5th, Nashville 6th.

There's no way the Hawks are passing Detroit....

You realize they are 10 points up with a game in hand, right? Even if the Wings only played .500 hockey for the rest of the season, the Hawks would have to win 13/15....

i didn't say it was going to happen, i said it's what I would like to happen

Also keep in mind that they are without Datsyuk, Lidstrom, Howard etc. for at least the next couple weeks.

If the Hawks don't win the Cup it doesn't matter how far they get. They'll probably have to pass one of Detroit or St. Louis if they get out of the 1st round anyway, so why does it matter when they get them? Might as well get them in the 1st round and see what the Hawks can do.

Maybe time to change the question to "How far do you think the Hawks will go this year"

That really does depend on who they play first round ton and what health the team is in. I think this club healthy could go conference final at least. Sadly i dont think if they make the playoffs they will be healthy enough or remain healthy enough to get that far. Teams i dont want to face first round are the preds and blues. Any other team i think the hawks could take in a seven game series even with the questionable season we have seen. I think the blues or preds have this teams number and better coaching. I also think the blues have an overall better healthy depth. Some guys on that team remain under rated.

Detroit is now 4 points up, and 3-6-1 in their last 10 games.

I was promised there would be no math, but I'm fairly certain that's under .500

Very...

Please not another playoff series with the Preds... Snoresville.

EDIT: Unfortunately, the Preds are up 2-1 on the Ducks with 1:30 left in the 3rd.

Hard times playing through rough patches and injuries are one thing. But this is different, this is lack of give a damn. I can only deduce giving the data I have that the players have quit playing for Q.

Lack of give a damn, 7-2-1 in last 10...........without our Captain to boot........fire Q. Always love the schizo sports fan.
