Remember when we used to ***** about Boozer and Deng's contracts?

Not sure I really believe that other than they were exploring options should Kobe blow up at them. Who really knows though?

Kobe is on the record(on National TV this year) saying the Lakers had a deal to Detroit worked out involving basically Rip Hamilton, Tayshaun Prince, and draft picks and Kobe squashed it because it wasn't on his list of teams he gave LA.

He also said Chicago was on his list and his #1 choice..we all know the story with the Deng thing there.
