The game was decided by back to back holding calls on the Bears while the lions have been holding like madmen all game

Seems legit

Jesus, what else does Matt Barkley have to do to finish off a 2 min drive? His stats should look so much better than they do if receivers could catch and random penalties weren't called in this game and the Titans game.

too many penalties killing drives. too many penalties extending Lions drives.

I think they should have been sending the house even in the first half. It doesn't matter much. Detroit isn't a good team and will not escape the NFC.

Lions are winning the division, and have trailed in the 4th quarter of every game.

I actually think the Bears are much closer to the Lions, talent-wise, than to the Packers and Vikes.

On the bright side, another good battle from the team. Should have won the game but it's good experience for the young guys and helps us still maintain a good draft position.

Best of both worlds type of game.

Bears played their butts off and made it entertaining, good growth for the young guys. And we lose to help out draft position.

No doubt in my mind we were the better team. This team still has some learning to do as it just can't close out games..

Those were both holds so don't blame refs. This is a perfect scenario, Barkley is showing he is not phased by the pressure yet we still fuck it up.

Yes they were holds but what's so damn frustrating with nfl officials is when they choose to call them. They decided this game. They could have thrown a flag for holding on almost every offensive play for Detroit but decided to ignore it. But final drive with the Bears driving and all of a sudden they decide to call it. There needs to be consistency. Either call them all or continue not calling them on the final drive.

Barkley will be our starter next year if he continues to play at this level.

Giving Barkley a lot of love for putting ten points on the board. Amazing how good a QB can look to some fans when they lower the bar.

Balls that are catchable and or not caught will from this point forward be referred to as Bellamys
