Dalton was ranked 25th of 35 in passer rating of 2020 qualified starters. When you factor out all really shitty back up QB play, Dalton's 87 passer rating falls well below average. Kyler Murray who sits 18th ( the median ranked passer ) had a 94.3 rating.

I read out of this chart is we added Andy Dalton, whom isn't as good statistically as Mitch Tribusky or Kyler Murray.

But hey we will carry on as if Noogy is a legend of a coach!
