Right now, Foles isn't producing any better (an arguably worse) than Trubs..

He has thrown a pick in every game he has played this season though.
Fully anticipated. Anyone who expected Foles to be a clean QB was barking up the wrong tree. He's aggressive with the ball. What has disappointed me so far is the lack of deep balls. That's not all on him but still.

I graduated high school the year the Bears won the Super Bowl.

Jim McMahon was a great football player but he wasn’t that quarterback like Joe Montana, Brett Favre, Dan Marino, John Elway....those types..lol

True

Well those types we'd have to go way back to the days of Sid Luckman. :)

We've had chances to draft good Qb's but always go for the ones without decent credentials and accomplishments. We seem to always go for another teams garbage castoff. So yeah.....I share your frustration.

Well seeing that Joe Montana actually threw interceptions I think we will let Nick slide.....I hope he breaks his streak though

The stage is set for Mitch to be the prodigal son and get his last hurrah in the playoffs.

With this line, 10 more games is highly dangerous for Foles, and despite the coming losing streak...the finish is soft enough to contend for that 7 seed.

Foles biggest issue to finish the season might even be that he didn't show enough when he had the chance, and now faces a little gauntlet that could see the Bears at .500 and Nagy panik again.

Does he go back to Mitch? Does he wait for injury? Is Mitch learning from Foles on the bench, maybe more than he would have from games? I'd tell him to stay ready, this season is far from over.

Foles has exposed the line, and it might actually be Mitch who is better without one when winter sets and soft Soldier Field rears up.

I guess we will have healthy grass for once without concerts and the like.

I should really consider keeping a Strain log to review "predictions" and find out which is the "really good shit."

I was also always hoping for Foles to play and then for Mitch to return and be a better version od himself after finally sitting behind a smort QB. Not a prediction per say since it's still Mitch and this OL but that was best case. Problem is that Mitch has a fucked up throwing shoulder. I suspect he'll play but won't be 'right', whatever that is.

If I’m his agent, Mitch, I’m paying off a doctor to say he needs shoulder surgery. Fuck this offense and risking his career over this bush league bullshit.

If Dalton regresses under Nagy please wake tf up.

Don't fall for "Dalton just sucks." He had an 87 rating last year in Dallas - he's average.

I know no one wants to hear it, but Foles is average too. He sucked with Nagy.

They say "Pace has addressed the o-line." Haha, so no excuses.

New coaching candidate after 2022. ?

87 isn’t average in the modern NFL

why the fuck was this bumped? this shit isn't creative. it's stupid.

also if you're arguing the status of average/below average with a differential of 1.6%, you're a shit disturber. one love HeHateMe.

Dalton was ranked 25th of 35 in passer rating of 2020 qualified starters. When you factor out all really shitty back up QB play, Dalton's 87 passer rating falls well below average. Kyler Murray who sits 18th ( the median ranked passer ) had a 94.3 rating.
