Unpopular opinion but Benson was one of my favorite recent Bears. Sucks that his time is up but it's a reminder that no moment is guaranteed. RIP
That is called lane splitting and it is perfectly legal in California. It was passed as a law so that air cooled bikes would not overheat in the 100 degree summers. The law states 5 mph faster than the flow of traffic which most do not adhere to. I personally don't do it at all as I like my bike to much.Or they go between cars/lanes down the interstate

Also Micks comment about going down the road on one wheel? I can guarantee those are millennials on rice rockets. Probably have the helmet with a mohawk on top as well. No one that rides a Harley does wheelies in the roadway. Well very few. I have known a couple of guys that are just downright stupid with their bikes but for the most part Harleys are to heavy to be riding wheelies..
In my earlier post I mentioned "fucking driveways". This includes any opening that is at a right angle to the flow of traffic. It is where most riders end up dead because a moron in a car just pulls out without looking and the bike hits them. I also had to lay my bike down once because of a moron that did not look left and just pulled out into traffic.
What was he supposed to do, decline the promotion to starter?? It’s not Benson’s fault mgt was stupid and thought he could replace JonesHe took the job from Thomas Jones. Never liked him for that reason.
my favorite CedBen moment came after he was no longer a Bear, I was watching him play w/ the Bengals, they were playing the Steelers and he took a handoff and cut right, Polamalu was heading towards him trying for one of his patented grandstand blowups and Benson trucked his ass at least 5 feet back, I think it surprised Troy P that someone would do him like that. I hope he didn't suffer and I feel for what his family is about to go through.
why was he one of your favorite bears?Unpopular opinion but Benson was one of my favorite recent Bears. Sucks that his time is up but it's a reminder that no moment is guaranteed. RIP
Fucking KX500 dirt bike damn near killed me. Many trips to the OR. All bikes are risky. There have been numerous studies on why cars pull out right in front of motorcycles. Bottom line though it doesn't matter the reason, people do not see motorcycles on the road as well as they see cars. Since that probably will never change, it seems very risky to drive a motorcycle on the road.
Most people have had an accident or more in their life, and in most cases not a big deal, that's why we have insurance. That same accident with a motorcycle much greater chance of becoming a real big deal.
He did quit in the SB.

20 years ago I had my own wreck on that very same road, also headed westbound, that I miraculously survived with just a scratch- the sheet metal starting at the B-pillar on the driver's side (!) was basically caved-in all the way to the transmission tunnel (courtesy of a Dodge Ram 1500). I get a little nervous driving on that road to this very day, and avoid it if it's practically possible. The road is a curvy road over a "mountain" and connects Mopac (highway 1) with TX-360, and there are certainly a few blind corners. I don't know the details of Mr Benson's incident, but honestly it's very easy to encounter a mishap on this road, especially if on a motorcylce, which offers decreased visibility (to others) anyway. RIP Mr Benson. Was apparently involved in a motorcycle accident yesterday.

AUSTIN, Texas — Multiple agencies are on scene of a crash between a motorcycle and a minivan that left two people dead in northwest Austin late Saturday night.
Austin-Travis County EMS reported that the crash happened at the 5600 block of Mount Bonnell Road at 10:22 p.m.
Initial reports stated a “vehicle and person on fire,” according to EMS.
Medics declared a man and a woman in their 30's deceased on scene. Two other patients refused transport to the hospital.
A spokesperson with the police department states that the motorcycle was traveling westbound on RM 2222 when it struck the white minivan that was pulling out of Mount Bonnell onto the roadway. The two people who died on scene were on the motorcycle, the spokesperson said."
And then @Urblock makes the thread about him. Biggest turd on ccs smh.Glad to know that the first thing that came to your mind as Cedric died was that he quit in the Superbowl.
He did quit in the SB.
