it's like last year....

good thing is they are hitting this streak right before the trade deadline. Bowman is going to be selling and there should be no untouchables
Going? This is Bowman the Lesser we're talking about. He likes to think he's the smartest guy in the room and if he really believes this team is good enough to make the playoffs, he might try to buy, or stand pat.

Going? This is Bowman the Lesser we're talking about. He likes to think he's the smartest guy in the room and if he really believes this team is good enough to make the playoffs, he might try to buy, or stand pat.

To waste the available cap space they have would be unforgiveable.....there are a bunch of teams that want to upgrade but are capped out. So they are forced to match contracts which is damn near impossible when you're trying to improve. For some healthy "futue considertions", Bowman could make some hay on future upgrades of his own. That's what proactive GM's do but of course, that's never been something Bowman was ever accused of.

That was my point. IMHO a GM who has a good idea of the pulse of the team both now and in the near term would be selling and planning for the future. I don't feel like Stan has a good idea of the pulse of the team. Hence, "Going to be selling" assumes Bowman is a proactive GM. :)
