Cooper wasnt worth it either and his performance since signing has proved it.
I don't disagree but you can't blame a man for wanting to get paid in line with other guys who are arguably not even as good as him.

Eh wouldnt put much stock into anything pre-Fields. Let's see how he feels after this year.
You run the risk of Robinson blowing up for 110 catches, 1,400 yards and 10+ TDs if Fields is all that and a bag of chips. Then he's got a legit claim to being a top 3 highest paid receiver. Still, I'm with the Bears on this one. I would meet in the middle at $18 mil but $20 is too rich.

Oh I dont blame him. I just wouldnt pay him that.

If he blows up then franchise him again or sign or trade him.

That would work out to a 2 year 40+ million deal which is pretty much the value of his guaranteed deal if he signed long term anyways.

Probably part of the reason he isnt freaking out about it.
