It's simple rocket science that creating TOO MUCH separation is a very bad thing. Think of it this way; if a cornerback is like your best friend, you don't want to be too far away from him. Why would you isolate yourself from your best friend? It makes no sense.

Now that I have conclusively proven that Rome is a terrible receiver, I think we all can agree that the only logical course of action is to release him.

I mean, it’s evident when you see the game that the kid does get separation. Doesn’t take a genius to figure it out.
Do you really see him getting separation in man coverage during the games?

Or are you blindly taking the word of one of these stat sites that ranked the Bears o-line in the top ten a year or so ago. 😆

coming from the guy that doesnt watch the games, that is rich!!!

the best separation Rome is creating is the separation from you and your $$$ that youre losing on that bet you made

He is gonna have a good year by seasons end stat wise. He is already having a great rookie season in play. The team will catch up to him soon. He is our real No.2 and our passing game is just starting to show life.

I have a feeling that Rome is going to explode after the Bye, when Caleb and Waldron have that extra week to REALLY dive into the film and reassess the offense. Caleb needs to glance Rome’s way more, because 2 weeks in a row, he missed seeing Rome breaking free and deep for TDs.

Also there was that PI on Horn in the Endzone that Rome drew last Sunday. Rome absolutely cooked Horn on that one.
Imo...the whole Passing game is going to explode mid-season and onward....maybe already started last Sunday?

That's his whole almost 2 and a half year career dumb ass. That's fucking terrible.
this year he has 13 receptions for 289 yards 2 TD's and that's a 22.2 average per catch, while the TD's are small he is not a consistant red zone target as a WR2 those targets are mostly intended for St Brown and Laporta or the running backs, his playing time for his 1st 2 years were limited due to injury and a stupid decision to gamble on the Lions property

If his QB didnt suck for 75% of the season he'd not be underperforming.

You put him on the giants or cardinals and he gets a ton more targets.

Everyone on the bears is underperforming because the QB is underperforming. Pretty simple.
Dumb is the new normal for you.

How is this dumb?

Every single player on the bears is underperforming because the starting QB had 157 yards, 93 yards, and 174 yards in 3 games.

Pretty sure the wideouts and TE's arent throwing the ball to themselves.

If rome was the #1 option on a team with a veteran QB he'd be tearing it up right now.

Sorry, I forgot we cant critique the golden child.

Rome's stats would look much better if caleb completed even one of the deep shots he overthrew him on.

How many passes has he caught so far? 2?

Think he's on pace for 51 catches and 700 yards + 3 tds.

Pretty solid stats for a first round rookie, also I think thats good enough to get black rainbow banned.

Only took Jameson Williams 2.5 years to get those stats.

The suggestion that Caleb has “sucked” for 75 percent of the season is meatball dumb but please carry on.

Good to see that people hold Williams to a higher standard than they did Fields (throughout all 3 seasons).
