Do you really see him getting separation in man coverage during the games?

Or are you blindly taking the word of one of these stat sites that ranked the Bears o-line in the top ten a year or so ago. 😆
Are you asking something stupid. 😆

How would anyone see him getting separation during the game unless the ball is thrown to him? Broadcast directors primarily follow the ball. Sometimes you’re going to get reverse angle replays from the Sky Cam or the high end zone camera that would allow you to see who was open.

Usually you have to be at the game sitting high enough or watch the all 22 to know for sure.

Odunze has been breaking free on a consistent basis. I think Caleb has been feeding DJ to keep him happy, but Rome’s time is coming.

You made a bad call on the player. It happens. Don’t die on that hill. That’s exactly why Daniel is such a buffoon. He dies on every bad take hill.

He already admitted he doesn't watch the games

1. Exactly, I have my doubts many ppl are watching all-22. Which is why I asked the other poster.

2. No one is "dying on a hill" over a WR with 15 receptions.

3. You've got ppl here that still cannot admit JF is a bad QB in year 4; and guys who wouldn't admit it until he got traded for a 6th round pick after year 3 - that's an example of dying on a hill.

this year he has 13 receptions for 289 yards 2 TD's and that's a 22.2 average per catch, while the TD's are small he is not a consistant red zone target as a WR2 those targets are mostly intended for St Brown and Laporta or the running backs, his playing time for his 1st 2 years were limited due to injury and a stupid decision to gamble on the Lions property
Excuses!

So, through 5 games, quick comparison of the top 3 rookie WR from draft night. Nabers clearly stands out. 1 less game played due to the concussion and still has more catches than either of the other guys even have targets. Nabers is clearly a focal point of that offense and has the production to back it up.

Both MHJ and Rome essentially have just had 1 really good game so far, ie where they had 100+ yards receiving in a game.

I think the one that surprised me the most though is I thought MHJ would have a bigger impact and being doing more. His TD numbers are great. But he is catching just less than half his targets and is only averaging ~56 yards per game. The expectation there was he was the clear #1 but he is not really standing out how I thought he was - especially when you look at Nabers game.

I think Rome's time will come. The Bears offense did not start off well as we all know. But, Caleb and the offense seem to be figuring things out. Rome has been open, now Caleb just needs to find him and I think he will.

no, the excuses are you adding 2 years in which he rarely played to fit your bust narrative
What Williams has done in the NFL in his young career are facts. You sir are the one making excuses for him.

Malik is the Giants offense. They feed him the ball every chance they get. He’s definitely talented but his numbers are skewed a bit.
