LOL at you comparing some pickup game of "playing ahrd" to playing NBA fucking basketball.
If you saw what I said to Diddy, you would have seen that I said I was wrong in comaring NBA basketball to any other kind.
LOL at you playing hard. You're prolly wheezing up and down the court after 2 minutes and jacking up shit jump shots.
You're probably coaching a kids basketball team because you're a creepy ass pedophile who brings the kids back home and tapes sexual acts while your wife [who is actually a relative of yours] tapes it.
It's fun assuming.
Do you know how science works?
That's like me saying if I take a charge while coaching my team it's the same as taking a charge from Reggie Evans.
If you get knocked on yor ass by a guy who is a chiseld 6'7 225 that is a highly trained and strong athlete it's not the same as a getting knocked over by your Home Depot butt buddy who is 6'1 and 210 of flab and not nearly as strong.
HAHAHAHAAH @ you talking about butt buddies.
Where's all your internet butt buddies? talking to everyone else- You insult them and you'e never wrong. Rory comes in a disagrees with you- "Oh yeah, you're right Rory. I agree, I guess I just viewed it differently at first.. but you have convinced me otherwise. Sorry for letting you down."
And again, I already addressed this in the post to Diddy. I acknowledged that is wasn't the same.
Uhh and?
Derrick Rose is an NBA player. Derrick Rose injured his back playing NBA basketball. Derrick Rose must heal enough to play NBA basketball again. So Derrick Rose being an NBA basketball player is not only intrisically involved with his injury to begin with....he must recover well enough to be able to play the same sport that caused the injury.
A guy injures his back unloading a truck. That guy must heal enough to be able to unload the truck again. So that guy, whose job requires him to unload the truck with heavy boxes is not only intrisically involved with his injury to begin with... he must recover well enough to be able to do the same job that caused the injury.
whoa... look at that.
You have yet to make a valid point.
You just don't seem to understand my point.
You're funny.
Yes because I'm sure Derrick Rose doesn't do anything else but play basketball. Just by looking at him I cna tell he doesn't lift at all.
Please stop. You're making yourself look dumber with each post.
Derrick Rose plays 3000 minutes a year. In each basketball game, how often does he fall or really take a hit? Not too much. He even goes games where he doesn't even hit the deck.
Practices in the NBA is basically running plays, running, standing around and listening to the coach, etc.
In the off-season, Rose doesn't even play pick-up games. He practices on his game and lifts.
Sticking to my friend. His job requires him to lift. Lets say he works 35 hours every week.. but he's only lifting shit for a total of 20 of those hours. That would be 57,600 minutes of lifting at his job each year [taking way 4 weeks in a year because of vacation]. That's not including the weights he lifts when he's at the gym, and those don't include the minutes he's running while playing basketball, football or anything else he does.
So does Rose lift weights that no one else lifts? If you're not in the NBA, you can't workout in the gym as hard as an NBA player would? You can't be in as good of shape as an NBA player would be?
You make it seem like no one can come close to being as fit as an NBA player or that they can't do things that are really physically demanding compared to an NBA player. Hell, a lot of NBA players don't do shit during the off-season.
Because he's a joke if he hangs out with your dumb ass.
I'm a cool guy. I would try being a lowlife clown like you, but I prefer being cool.
I'm not "ignoring" any of your "points".
You have yet to make a "point" you just keep talking about your flunkie friend who works at the Home Depot having a bad back and playing hard in pickup games.
My point- A guy, like my friend, can put a lot of stress on his back, just like an NBA player can put a lot of stress on their backs. How does he put a lot of stress on his back? By doing heavy lifting at work, doing heavy lifting at the gym, playing basketball as well as doing other things. You're just a moron and you either seem to not be getting that, or you're not picking at things I'm saying.
Well no worries. Usuing BNB's example you could get a herniated disc and still work fine.
you can be fine. Like I said, different from person to person.
Can You Lift Weights With a Herniated Disc? - Dr Davis' Back & Wrist Pain Blog
in there, it says some people with herniated discs don't even know they have it. Like I said in another post. So if you didn't know you had it, or did know you have it but it doesn't cause pain, why would it stop you from doing things?
and the people that do feel pain from herniated discs? Well they can still lift and do other things as long as your body feels like it's okay.
