Hmmm. It seems that at this point the 40-man is full with Rosario's claim by the Cubs. Schierholtz hasn't been officially added yet and Ian Stewart's deal is non-guaranteed (or so they say) so he won't be added until he makes the team out of spring training. There's gonna be a couple more Cubs who will lose their jerbs.

I doubt they did, but 4 other teams were pursing him. The major/minor contract pretty much tells it won't be an overspent contract.

I'm ok with that. I've often felt the Cards were the class of the NL and the Cubs would do well to do what STL does to be consistently awesome.

Good ol' Bleacher Nation...40-man is full, but not because of Lim. It's because Ian Stewart was re-added. Schierholtz deal not finalized yet.
