You would think yo-yoing him back and forth between the rotation and bullpen would the be worst possible decision in terms of Sale's long term health.

I agree. its fucking stupid.

I guess according to the score that they are revisiting the sale back to rotation this friday. I guess they are in fear of him being injured. so stupid.

Well, they need to make up their damn minds. Sale outta the rotation makes it weaker.

I would be more concerned about Sale's health long term. Odds are you guys aren't making a real run this year, and Sale has the potential to be a difference maker type arm (whether in the pen or rotation). Having him healthy has to be the top priority.

Real run is the key part of the phrase. The Sox might be able to sneak into the playoffs, but are they really going to do any damage once they get there. Yes anything can happen, but really what are the odds this team makes a run against the top teams in the AL.

And that increases the odds you can beat the Rangers or Rays in a playoff series how?

Anything can happen in the playoffs, especially with a solid pitching staff. I think last year and 2006 proved that.

Never said it did. I was just stating that there is a somewhat good chance the Sox can still win the division.

the Tigers aren't as good as people make em sound like.

outside Verlander, their rotation blows ass & after Miggy & Moose, their lineup is crap except maybe for Avila.

Come on now, Dabs. Who's being a homer? Is the AL Central not just pure crap? And if it is crap, does that not make it easier for the Sox to potentially win the division?

I guess that depends on how truly crappy each team is, and by proxy, how crappy you guys think the Sox are. I personally think the division is up for grabs because I believe Cleveland is a pretender (again) and the Tigers clearly have some issues.
