At least Crawford only has to work on his glove hand (which Boston took like 90% of their shots their anyway, eventually a couple will go in)... Rask has to work on holes 1-6... luckily for him there is a 7-hole he succeeded at.

Really though, the only "holes" the Hawks couldn't find were probably the 6 hole and 4 hole... otherwise they hit 5 out of 7 haha.

Oh, definitly. And every time they make a mistake a red light goes on and tens of thousands of people get on them about it.

I think looking at the goaltender as the one who loses it or wins it it myopically hides other issues with the team--any team, for that matter. You almost have to look at each in a vacuum.

Crawford needs to work his glove before the next game, he was horrible at it.

The rest of the team needs to work on passing; they were horrible at it.

There were some good saves Crawford had this past game, but it doesn't wash out the glove side fuckups.

There were some great passes that were made that opened up some great opportunities and assisted on goals, but they don't wash out the missed passes that least to odd-man rushes against.

Winning washes the sting away from those for sure, but it doesn't mean they shouldn't be worked on.

Crawford earned that shit dropping with his play in the playoffs . Really not a lot of criticism coming his way that I've seen. Had they lost, that would probably change.

Lundqvist was 24 for 29 with a .844SV% in 60:00 of play that game.

Last night Crawford was 28 for 33 with a .848SV% in 69:51 of play

Crow didn't look good last night, though I was cussing a streak up some of the D men who would not only fail to clear the puck, but seemed to put it on the Boston pointman's stick more often than not.

And that one goal that went off the glass, off the back of the net....well jesus christ that was the flukiest shit ever.

Not to mention goaltender interfence on pissant Marchand, knocking Crow's stick out of his hands.

Speaking of Senile Old Man, I took great pleasure in Seabs making Jagr look slow and utterly useless for the GWG. It's been 21 years, but a little payback was sweet.

Also, after having watched all goals in ultra slo-mo, I have no problem with CC, except for the Boychuk slapper...where I thought his angle was slightly off (although Odouya sliding didn't help either).

And if Oduya blocks that shot...it's "ho-hum" , not even a shot on goal. Pretty ballsy going down in front of a heavy 100+ mph shot

You didn't see anything bad about the first one he wasn't set?

He won the game (which is all that matters at this point of the season) and played very well in OT/battled when he was fighting it. But lets not make chicken salad out of chicken shit...which a few of those goals were.

New member. Signed up today mostly out of excitement from having acquired tickets for Sat night.

Canadian living in Ottawa it should be awesome...cannot fucking wait.

Crawford....ya think he can just magically fiix his glovehand in 2 days by "working on it"....not gonna happen.

I would argue that the problem is not entirely his glovehand but the fact that in game 4 he challenged no one. He was middle deep in the blue paint all night. Shots that would have hit Rask in the chest were going bye Craw's glove because he was way too deep in his net. My guess/hope was he was tired physically and mentally which kept him unfocused and his mechanics broke down. This is not to say the Bruins have not been beating Craw like a rented mule glove side all series but they at least have been quality shots with some sort of audio attached (post or crossbar) to the goals. Game 4 were pretty average looking shots that Craw was waving at.

I like Leddy....you have to let kids play and live with some mistakes. ...f'me take a good look at the rest of the D and ask yourself if they are making any mistakes....Kjjjaarrrmmmmllllleeeeson plays 1/2 the game with his face pointed towards the glass on his backhand...tough to make good plays form there ! !
