Anyway on to last night and enought of this back and forth crap between me and fat bastard. I will gladly eat crow. THe only reason I acted the way I did, is because I felt like every possible thing that can go against us was, it all started with the refs with the goal taken away, then the whole pregame story line of every fucken game with the Boston bombing with Doc Emerick. I mean talk about wanting the NHL to hand it to them is what it felt like...this whole Boston Strong, everyone is wired differently, Im wired in a way that I if I feel like I smell somthing foul, I will not be held back on what I want to say, not because I hate the Hawks or think they can't do it, its just what I see and feel, was my call about this series being over. I think it was a fair assumption to say that if you saw the same things and felt the same way, to go along with all that I said, expampel yesterday, It seemed like every time the Hawks had a goal or two lead, here come the soft calls, really???? it was so fucken obviouse that i even said watch Kruger scored here comes on PP for the Bruins. When the Hawks are tied or losing then they are letting them play. Its Pathetic that the NHL is soo predictable, when the score was 5 aside, no calls were being made again, when clearly there should have been. I mean 7 PP for the Bruins REALLY? Hawks are that undisiplined? I SAY bullshit!

anyway....pass the crow for game four......Im hungry

People that piss and moan constantly...glass half empty all the time....are the ones that want to jump and say "I told you so" if/when a team doesn't win the cup.

And odds are...with only 1 of 30 teams going to win...more people want to be able to doom and gloom/and piss and moan.

If they have a shitty regular season - it's "this team sucks, they're not going to do shit"

If they dominate the regular season - it's "who cares...only the playoffs matter anyway. Do something there"

If they lose a playoff first round - "see...this team can't win/isn't 'tough enough' or built for playoff hockey"

If they lose a few rounds in - see previous complaint

If they lose in the Cup finals - it's "nothing they've done all year matters if they don't win the cup"

Fact is...this has been an incredibly entertaining regular season - one of the best I can remember where every game was exciting. The playoff have been amazing drama...especially vs DET, LA and now BOS. It's been exciting, fun, on the edge of the seat entertainment. Sure, there are times where you don't like them losing - who likes that? What team is perfect in hockey that will 'run the table' - regular season or playoffs? There's going to be mistakes...and highs and lows. Truth is...GM's ,coaches and players want to win more than anyone else out there. Someone is going to win...and unfortunately someone will lose. I just don't understand why so many go for the worse then "eat crow" after...and spend so much time pissing and moaning - when they're 2 wins away from the Cup.

Everyone is wired differently bud. like I explained, if I see something wrong with a series if it be officating or something, I call it out like its going to cost us...and it has...you can't tell me after last night, they were not trying their hardest to keep boston with in reach to win it. Anyway this is the way I and many are, it does not mean i like the Hawks any less, You have a tendency to put stats up every post, but you gatta also see that stats change every game, and they all don't hold true in the future. But thats the way you are. And many of us respect it because you shed light on the topic.

Off the topic, I haven't enjoyed much of this Finals and I can honestly say yesterday was the only full game I watched all series. My mother in law is in the hospital and Friday she is about to have open heart surgrey, Its been tough on the family and lots of sleepless nights. I hope and pray it goes well.

Actually... in his playoff career only gave up 4 once.

Stressful but not unexpected. Split at home, split away. I didnt even use a Herb prayer, so no worries folks, we are still good for at least one more win.

Several of the calls were pathetic

Oduya's interference - yet in the 3rd...Boychuk did the same to Stalberg

Kane's hook - Krug ran into his own player. Ref screened from 3 players and the net, makes the call

Sharp taken down with 2 sticks in his waist on a Hjall shot from the point in the 3rd - no call (but Kane's was on a non-scoring chance)

Keith hooks Kelley...who runs Shaw well after the whistle...but Shaw gets one as well?

Then Daugavins mauls Shaw while he was on the ice later in the 3rd...and no call in that scrum (after Shaw's prev penalty)

I had no idea what was/wasn't going to be called....as it didn't seem like the players were either. It would be nice to have a coach without his head up his ass...to keep the bench even keeled and pushing forward through it all.

...it seemed like the color of you jersey was involved in the process...

Weak-weak calls on the guys in white...

Let'em play playoff hockey for the guys in black...

Glad to see the Hawks bailing out Mr. Softy for once.

Yikes... you would never see the BGITW give up 5 goals in a playoff game.

Hope Ray is ready for a start before this one is over.

But yet again I called it when the score was 0-0 AND WAS RIGHT: "I feel like the Hawks are going to score a lot of goals, but Crawford is going to be Mr. Softy tonight"...

Man it's no fun being right all the time
