We've been trying to figure that out for two games now. Maybe the Boston fan, who has been reading off and on, will answer. Is their a big pile of shit somewhere in that building attracting flies? It's pretty funny...

I'm just glad I wasn't the only one noticing that.

Never seen that before in any arena. Every arena has its charms yes, but flies on the rafters? Don't people clean up there from time to time?

It was flies confirmed from Boston fans at the game. The building is not that old...pretty sad.

The flies? I think it's because Snooki is hiding bare-snatched in the rafters.

Anyhow, I liked what I saw from this game. Toews and Kane got on the board, Seabrook kept the "captain clutch" moniker, Guys were going into traffic, battling for pucks, and the skaters has a less-dainty and more workmanlike ethic to the game.

The bad though: Elephant in the room: Craw & Waite have to work on that glove hand. I liked Weeks' snyposis post-game, have him hold it a little lower to get the shots between glove and pad and it should help a lot. The only other thing I think we could have improved on was our passing. It seemed like no one was able to hit the broadside of Rosie O'donnel at some point in the game. Plus, every signle D-man tried a no-look backhand pass-clear that was intercepted for a scoring chance. We need to stop that.

I like the chances if we keep up our intensity though.

And lastly, As bad as Crawford's game was, Remember, Rask's was worse. Imagine if Crawford missed Seabs' blast? He would be hung in effigy.

Rask may have given up 1 more goal than CC...but I wouldn't necessarily say he was worse

Only thing that matters at this point is winning the games.

2 more wins to go

I think Rask's GA's were a lot different than Craws. Crawford had some serious glove issues last night. Serious.

All that matters is 2-2.

The Bruins again should be happy because if it was not for the FUCKED UP no goal in gm #2 they'd be down 3-1 right now.

Considering some of the anti-Crawford statements I have heard--like Crawford being one of the worst goaltenders in the entire league because he gave up 2 overtime soft goals last year, I would think the converse would have to be brought up.

Based on raw team stats, Rask was worse--he let in 6 while Craw let in 5. Eye-test, both would probably want that night back. Crawford does need to work on that glove hand--you'd have to be blind to not see that.

Either way, I'm happy. We won and the guys looked hungry. All I want Is Waite/Craw/Emery to work on his glovehand before Saturday and the team to practice passing and I'll have good feelings about Saturday.

I think at this point Crawford has played well enough the entire season, and especially postseason, to not think he now has horrible problems after one game and worry about it, regardless of the bad timing of it. It's not like their power play, where now you just hope the law of averages finally catches up to it.

Did Crow have a stellar game? Not even close.

Does Crow deserve a game to help HIM when he kept his team in it when they couldnt score to save their life? I would think so.
