Bergeron is day to day with and injured body. Not upper or lower just a body injury. Toews is much better according to Q and hopefully will play in game 6. Also Don Cherry is in love with Bickell.

Bergeron supposedly has an issue with his spleen.

Darren Pang knew this last night. Tells me he has been playing through this. Pang thought it happened in game 2.

The question is will the med staff shut him down or determine he can't hurt it any worse by playing.

I heard that the chicago blackhawks were 1 game away from winning the stanley cup?

can't tell around here sometimes. something as awesome as being one game away from winning the hardest trophy in pro sports to win keeps taking the back seat to recycled unwinnable debates.

Yeah once again, not mutually exclusive thoughts. It's possible to still discuss one thing which is the NHL's horrible business as usual, while still feeling really great about another. Did you miss my post saying that right now we're watching the best, most successful core of players the Blackhawks have ever had? That once they win this Cup they will have achieved more for this organization than guys like Mikita and Hull and Esposito and Larmer and Roenick and Savard, and the list goes on, combined?. That's amazing when you think about it. This is the Golden Era for the Hawks, especially considering the salary cap era of the NHL today. It's in progress right now and there's no reason they couldn't add more Cups to it as long as they are kept together. And we get to see it firsthand.

He was even quoted in saying "he (Toews) is expected to play tomorrow."

However I wouldn't be surprised if both him and Hossa don't practice in the morning.

Wouldn't be surprised if Toews skated. It's all part of the regime. Hossa hasn't though for a week or so.

I cant picture Toews not playing with a chance to hoist the cup.

Just before the game, they showed a large group of fans grouped in a section and all were wearing Oduya jerseys? Was that his family/friends or just a bunch of Swede's?
