Earlier in the series after Marchand scuffled with Shaw, he compared him to a "kitty-cat."

Looks like it's Marchant that has turned into a pussy.

Which raises an interesting question. Will he dress whether or not he is healthy enough to play?

Burish appeared on the ice in his uni for Cup presentation after game 6 in Philly, even though he was a scratch for the game. I believe other Hawks did, too. Bickell, maybe?

I am just as surprised as Hawks fans that Boychuk didn't get a call from Shanahan.

It was Krug that Fro tripped. And I agree, it was a trip BUT. . .I also give ZERO fucks! :icon-lol: Ya know, because of the fucking two-arm shiv to Toews' head? The cross-check to Shaws face that drew blood and only got a single minor? Gm. 2 disallowed goal anyone? But I am loving Bs fans EPIC levels of butthurt whining about "The TRIP That Ate Pittsburgh"! LMAO, GMAB. Missed calls are made IN EVERY NHL GAME THAT IS PLAYED so thems the breaks like the Gm. 2 result. Zebras could just have easily made a call right before "TheTRIP That Ate Pittsburgh" when Chara caught the puck and then carried it before throwing it where he wanted instead of dropping it immediately. BOS didn't lose tonight because of officiating---give credit where credit is due because the Hawks showed up engaged as **** and were the better team tonight even though the Bs amped up their level of compete and game in the 3rd.

Your complaining about the calls yet your team has the refs advantage.7 pp's for the Bruins in game 4 and they got the call every time the Hawks had a two goal lead? BRUINS are good but it obvious they are trying to keep them in the game..and game 4 sure showed it.

Yes, all the Hawks that didn't dress, dressed and skated on the ice with the Cup.

Really Bickell just missed the requirement to get his name on the Cup. Shame Jay Blunk is on there and Bickell is not really. But he has a chance now to have it legit.

They could have petitioned to put him on there.

But everyone who was active roster suited up and skated on the ice for sure.

I said that a lot too until I just put her on ignore. It fucks with it a little having empty spaces but it's much more calming.

If anything Mquaid should have gotten a call for the cross check to Shaws face. That was very bad and very intentional. You could argue that JT changed his positioning during the Boychuck hit, although watching Boychuck take runs at Hawks the past three games I tend to deem it was most definitely intentional and a direct hit to the back of the head.

But also remember Bolland could have easily gotten a game for the Hit on Richards in the LA series and it didn't get a call either. The NHL is so inconsistent I don't think the players know what is and isn't frowned upon.

Unless your name is Torres, Cooke or any "known" hack, then ANYTHING, including looking cross eyed, is suspension worthy.

Or if you're a nobody...the way Gryba was suspended on the Eller hit. It was clean as could be...but you get people that want everything suspended. It clouds the water, and this is the way some want the game to be policed. And they'll never be happy because they got their foot in the door - they'll continue to want to change or "fix" more and more and more

You also had a ton more penalties, more boarding, more stick penalties ,more stupid bullshit overall. They were higher than ever. Arguably, excluding the lockouts, the darkest days of hockey.

I heard that the chicago blackhawks were 1 game away from winning the stanley cup?

can't tell around here sometimes. something as awesome as being one game away from winning the hardest trophy in pro sports to win keeps taking the back seat to recycled unwinnable debates.

any actual blackhawk news today or news on this series? there was a great hockey game last night with lots of drama. nearly 24 hours away from game 6!! Going to be a tough game to win. Hope the Hawks do of course but this has been a story book series so far so why wouldn't i be shocked if it goes 7 games? so far this might be the best cup final series i have ever seen in my lifetime. sure that has much to do with the hawks being in the series but it also has a lot to do with the amazing hockey and events on the ice.

Bergeron is day to day with and injured body. Not upper or lower just a body injury. Toews is much better according to Q and hopefully will play in game 6. Also Don Cherry is in love with Bickell.
