lol with Shaq as a GM there we have 0% odds to land Howard here. He will trade Howard for Bynum without even examine other options.

Because the Bulls may be the best option for Orlando

Mirotic,Charlotte's pick,Deng,Gibson,Asik,Noah,CJ Watson,Butler.
A package of 4 out of these 8 would be more than anything they would have in their hands.

Who can offer something more than that?

The Lakers? Bynum? Yeah right. They will have the same team with the only difference they won't make the playoffs.

Small market teams with top8 draft picks? Howard doesn't want to hear about them.

The Mavs? OK tell me how. Because Orlando won't let Howard leave the team for nothing.

The Nets? They are really in a mess right now. The possibilities of ending up with a worse supporting cast than what he has in Orlando are great there.

CJ Watson,Deng,Noah and Charlotte's pick with Anderson would be a playoff ready team that may get a superstar in 3-4 years from now.

And you can make more playoff ready team packages depends on what the Magic want.

IMO it's only a matter of Gar & Pax. If they want to pull the trigger they can do it. I am sure the magic won't have something better in their hands.

My favorite teams
  1. Chicago Cubs
  1. Chicago Bulls
  2. Golden State Warriors
  1. Chicago Bears
  1. Chicago Blackhawks
Except Bynum is better than every single one of those Bulls players you mentioned...

If Chicago was really making such great offers, we at least would've had more random rumor articles saying so.

Yes Bynum is better than any of the Bulls players BUT Bynum with Kobe and Gasol has almost been swept by an elite team. So Bynum won't be enough for the Magic. Except that Howard doesn't really want to play with Kobe or follow Shaq's steps.

Unless you believe that the Magic has something more than Kobe and Gasol, Bynum would make the Magic a much worse Lakers team and definitely a non playoff team. Without Howard the rest of them wouldn't have made the playoffs if there were 5 more games in the regular season.
