You'll have to forgive me, I remain as yet uncaffeinated. Give me 20 mins

I have no problem with people being fans of their country, what gets me is the way they're duped into doing it, and duped into accepting the toxic associations that come along with it.
For example, why does national pride always have to be centered around military worship? Is there anyone stood enough to believe that our military is used to protect our freedom? It's used to protect corporate interests in strategic parts of the world and manipulate regimes (overthrow or install and prop up) to suit that purpose.
I think national pride should be about celebrating nurses, teachers, writers, thinkers, emergency responders and volunteers. People who work to make life and society better at home.
His question was directed at your comments...dont bring me into itBud's posts double in size when u respond lol.
I don't entirely disagree with you mick. I pray in my home and my house is based on faith in God and that's really where it should be, in the home. I don't want people outside my home teaching my family about faith and prayer unless in know thier basis and doctrine. If all religion is taken out of government and public facilities, Its really fine with me. Thw whole "as for me and my house" thing. I do think we should honor veterans who have served in some way and teach our kids to respect service members. I'm not sure if the pledge really does that or not.
You mentioned corporate interests in your post..I merely asserted that the Bears are a business and a corporation as well, yet you support them
You still havent commented on my comparisons between supporting the Bears, and supporting America
So you would have issue with celebrating Hindu holiday Dewali at work? You want our Government to protect your brain and ears from that? lol. Indians at work here celebrate Dewali every year and bring in great food, I don't have an issue with learning others peoples culture and celebrating with them. Bearmick couldn't do that? Are you that socially repressed and intolerant bearmick?

No...you said "MICK" could edit HIS posts...not memy comments were related to your posts doubling in size when you edit them.
mick... You do mortgages?...can I PM you..I have a question..ok??
Yes. I come to work to post on CCS and deal with mortgages, not to listen to some Hindu religious nonsense.
No...you said "MICK" could edit HIS posts...not me
I swear...Now you know why I dont often respond to you...You have the strangest mind set. You do nothing but snipe..I mentioned that to you once before.. Im afraid its time to return to not responding to you at allI was saying that Mick can edit his posts, like you do. It was implied. Go get some coffee, and maybe your shinebox.
See that makes no sense to me at all, they aren't praying to me or preaching. They bring in Indian food that celebrates their culture, and it's good. I have no issue with it and I'm glad I work in a Company and live in a Country that allows it. It doesn't mean they are trying to make me Hindu, they are just including me in celebrating with them. It's liberty and I love it. If you don't like it don't participate.
