There are high schools in Texas with facilities like that. It’s just different in places like Texaspretty interesting the even a place like North Texas has beautiful athletic facilities

I think Walker has the athleticism to be something like an Akiem Hicks type player. Not saying he will, but he is really explosive for a guy that size. I see Grant as more of a Travis Jones type player but with more upside. But I think showing some pass rush in one on ones could really help boost his stock.Kenneth Grant, the NT from Michigan is a behemoth. Gotta wonder what a guy presently prognosticated as a late 1st/early 2nd round pick needs to prove in this game, and what this can can do to elevate him. He already has experience in 4 man front and 3 man front.
Wink Martindale ran a fascinating hybrid look, 4 over 3 scheme, where he’d bunch 3 DL on 1 side of the line then leaves his NT on the other side, or the train, where the 5 techs are stacked wide and and ILB stacks over the NT and both stand up edges stack over the 5Ts and you don’t know which one blitzes.
He and Deone Walker are the top of the board for fat NTs. No, not the 310 lb variety like Andrew Billings, the 340-350+ variety like when we had peak Eddie Goldman a couple years back.
I’d love him with one of the 2nds, whereas I don’t think Walker stays on the board by the end of the 1st round.
Definitely not at #10. And I think Tyliek Williams from OSU will be better.Walter Nolen is a carbon copy of the 3TECH personnel that Dennis Allen historically utilizes in the middle of his defensive line. Very similar player to Bryan Bresee, only I believe that Nolan is a superior prospect to what Bresee was when he was taken in the 2023 draft class.
Walter Nolen is exactly who the type of complete 3TECH that defense needs and needs now.
If the Bears do go defense I think that Nolan will be the pick and it wouldnt bother me at all.
Really, there are currently 8 starting QBs in the NFL who participated in the Senior Bowl. Off the top of my head I can think of two players on the Eagles who played in the Senior Bowl, Zack Baun and Lane Johnson. Amazingly none of them were UDFAs.The UDFA Bowl!
I'm on the Nolan bus. Nolan fits every criteriaDefinitely not at #10. And I think Tyliek Williams from OSU will be better.

Tyliek is a beast that can absolutely play 3T, he is not just some space eater just because he is the bigger player at 6'3" 327lb. I think they both will be very good pros, with that said there are lots of good DTs in this draft and that means smart teams will wait longer instead of grabbing one early.I'm on the Nolan bus. Nolan fits every criteria
Need
Talent/technique
Production
Scheme fit
RAS Score (for what it's worth Nolan is going to crush the RAS)
IMO Nolan is the second best defensive line prospect in this class behind Carter.
If by some chance Williams is better than Nolan, in the eyes of NFL GMs, then God bless him because he won't be on the board at #10
The Bears already have a space eating DT with Billings, now they need a true and complete GAP shooter like Nolan who is every bit as good against the run as he is as a quick twitch pass rusher.
