Not a Carbomb fan, but its a plus he is back.

Yea... he's a huge upgrade over Bollig. Whatever they do, they better not **** up that 1st line with Saad. Stick Carcillo on the 4th line and add even MORE depth to the team.

Man this Hawks team is built like that team of destiny in 2010.

Too bad Sharp doesn't have a clue and our goaltending is suspect!!!

I liked him as soon as we got him. I like the spark he brings...and I feel like Toews plays better when he is in the lineup.

Exactly, I am just afraid Q will get into shaky after this teams legendary start comes to an end. Saad needs to be skating with that talent, anywhere else he is wasted.

Right now Saad is reminding me a whole lot of a younger Sharp, doing all the little things, fearless, multiple quality chances a night, just unable to hit that elite scoring stride (which you need playing with Toews and Hossa). I have all the hope in the world in Saad, and I know in two years we will be looking at him in a MUCH different way.

Cacillo in the fourth line with Kruger and Frolik....per Sassone. I like that...Q did not disrupt anything that is working.

BTW, can you guys imagine Saad's mentality. Last year he's skating with OHL with some very great prospect talent, but thats all it is, this year he laces them up knowing he's with Marian Hossa and Jonathan Toews.....not to mention the defenders he faces because he is skating on that line.

I know guys have done it before, but its still always cool to think about for me.

I'll get flamed for it but in a season or two Saad makes Sharp expendable. Will be as good or better and come at a much lower cost.

Well... I mean... that's really the formula to staying competitive, growing homegrowns for when vets outprice themselves. I'm not saying that's the case with sharp because he has a competitive contract and isn't really that old, just seems that way but ideally that's exactly the problems you want on a team. Just like you hope some day Tuevo does the same to someone... The trick is figuring out how to make this happen, but still keep everyone.

Well the only change from the season norm is Carcillo back and he's no the 4th line. So

20-19-81

10-36-88

29-65-25

13-16-67

Defense the same, with 2-7, 4-27....no word on Rosival or Break the Bank.

My favorite teams
  1. Portland Timbers
  1. Chicago Blackhawks
No flame, supra. I see that as a distinct possibility. The thing is if it were to happen it might take a couple of years. Sharp is signed through 2017 for 5.9M per with a NMC and a modified NTC (I couldn't find details on the NTC). Further, I would not want to bet the farm on Saad until *after* 2015, when he'll be a year out of his soph. season and we can see if he has broken out of any potential sophomore slump.

Wait til Q's mustache fucks with the lineup.
