So what? Scotty Bowman is part of this organization.

Maybe the dumb fucks in Toronto should've let him take the President role there...and they'd have a cup

I'm sure he helped Babcock in '08 when they won the cup as well. And Mikey boy probably could've used his help when he lost it the next year.

LINE-UP

Keep in mind, PP units are never confirmed... that info is hard to find so it's based on probability, which is determined from past line-ups. Rozsival, admittedly, is a guess on the last pairing... but I'm fairly certain he will be in the line-up over Brookbank.

I liked Oduya on the point last game. He made a fantastic pass to Hossa on his PP goal - looking off Schnieder and breaking the box.

I would love to see him in the point with the second unit with Leddy. Let him play the Left Side

Sharp - Stalberg (front of net) - Kane

Oduya - Leddy

Who knows, maybe Q sticks with that. But with Seabrook in the line-up he was rolling with Sharp on the point on that unit.

You can find more information on www.LeftWingLock.com (although you might already know of it) if you want more info on line combinations.

I love the 3rd line. I've always liked Shaw (even though he does stupid shit at times), but he and Shaw do have good chemistry. Love that line.

They have an intangible I havent seen on other third lines in the past.... aggression for the puck and getting the puck in the opposing teams' zone. Its something I'm not used to seeing on a 3rd line. Love that. Stalberg has a lot to do with that, too.

yah i like it just want to see the berg finish his chances but those two are playing well together and both have been solid on the back check. its a good third line hopefully the offense from the berg will grow a bit more because hes getting a lot of great chances.

Funny but no I meant Bowman. I will be sold on Q when he does it again. PMX probably could have coached that team to the Cup. And I'm not kidding.

I always have mixed feelings on that statement... same with when people say "Huet could have won the Cup with that team"

Q deserves the credit. He was the guy behind the bench the year before when the went to the Conf Finals as well. Whether people like him or not...no matter what was said in meetings....suggestions on lines/systems...he deserves full marks. As does every player on that team.

Except Bolland.

For those going tonight to the game are you going to battle over your getting an Edzo hat?

I find it interesting to hear the words shart and Edzo in the same thread.

If that was the case with Huet he would not have lost his starting Job..he got paid handsomely for opening the door and closing the door for the players and getting his name on that cup. HELL! Karpuztev would have been a good D man on that team.

When Saad starts producing points on a regular basis and switches back and forth between center and wing at Q's whim, then and only then will he make Sharp replaceable.
