I can't believe Zetterberg didn't make it.

Congrads to Kaner and Sharpie, hope they have a blast.

Anyone know who the captains are?

The new format allowing the captains to choose teams might make this a lot more interesting.

Glad for Sharpie and to see that right in votes can make a difference. Kris Letang got in on right in votes and he totally deserves to be there too. He's having a great year. And of course he is easy on the eyes, but could use a haircut.

Are you write handed?

Buff made it.

I might just have to watch the slap shot competition, I always wanted to know how fast he could bring it since man I loved seeing the Buff Cannon from the blue line on PP.

Way to go Sharpie. He really deserved it. I don't have a problem with Kane making it. Usually rep goes a long way for this. Now if Kane had made it and Sharpie didn't I would have a problem. Hopefully Kane would turn it down in that situation so Sharp could replace him.

I don't think you have that option. Toews and or Keith would then be in the same boat.

You might be right. Sometimes when a player pulls out they will get someone from the same team. But I don't know how the NHL set up works. Well I guess it is moot anyway since Sharp got in.

Glad to see him make it.

They could be playing against each other this year...Be fun to see Kane or Sharp go against Keith.

Players have to vote on the captains. Not sure when they are going to make those announcements. Sassone got a quote from Kane this morning saying something like "If Toews gets named Captain, I'm sure I'll be the last guy he picks."

Awesome quote.

The only time they are forced to replace a player from the same team is if the refusing player is that team's only representation at the game. if they have numerous reps already then another team will usually get a second rep (unless the next most deserving player happens to be from the same team). I still don't agree with every team being forced to have a player in the game, as Backes, Hemsky, Elias, and Kessel sure do not deserve to participate. I'm not quite sure how Kane deserves it over other players left off THIS season, but whatever, as long as Keith and Toews are there I'm a happy camper. Good for Sharpie too.

I don't think he has to worry, Kessel, Backes, Hemsky, or Elias will be picked last.

Thanks for pointing that out, Hun I will be sure to correct it. Everyone already knows I'm not the brightest bulb on the tree.

I was going to ask why they have number 7 for Duncan instead of 2.
