I'm not trying to argue for the sake of arguing & I'm not trying to paint you into a corner with a "Gotcha" moment. I'm not that type of poster.

The relevance of comparing Jordan/Rose is because you injected the Jordan/Rose comparison into the discussion. You compared Jordan's ability to recruit to Rose's inability/reluctance to recruit. At that point, I simply pointed out the differences between the two at the time of recruiting (Jordan was viewed as a god by his peers, while Rose was still viewed as a rookie by his peers). Then I added (and you agreed) that Lebron/Bosh/Wade never planned on coming here anyway.

If you don't blame Rose for the Summer of 2010, exactly what lack of recruiting are you blaming him for?

I didn't really want to compare the ability of Jordan to recruit...it was his WILLINGNESS to recruit that I spoke of. Sorry for the confusion.

It's cool man. Confusion reigns supreme on the internet....lol.

Not to beat a dead horse, but I'm still curious about what particular player and/or situation has you upset about Rose's supposed non-recruiting.

There is no one situation, its his stated unwillingness to recruit. I think that will change if he maintains his stature in the league and he matures, but as I stated before...if Elton Brand was out there trying...and he was not near the level Rose was at that point, Rose shouldn't have to be coerced into making a phone call.

I thought that he only stated that in 2010. I was unaware of any other instances where he stated anything about not recruiting.

There were reports a few months ago that he (his agents) have been reaching out to LMA. Here's part of the article & the link below:

And sources said the Bulls continue to rebuff attempts by the shared agency of Rose and LaMarcus Aldridge to bring the Trail Blazers' All-Star forward to Chicago. Sources said the Bulls have been unwilling to discuss a deal of Joakim Noah and Jimmy Butler for Aldridge.

Well he's only going to be a second fiddle now, so he wont have to be the recruiter, Chicago needs to get a guy who will be I suppose.

If we need a recruiter, then we need to aquire Wade.
He's the best recruiter in the biz.
If the Bulls can manage to trade Deng for Wade, we are a lock at getting Lebron this summer.

:D

:obama: I realize you're joking, but still... the thought of Wade or LeBron coming to the Bulls literally makes me want to throw up. Wade is the biggest douche in the NBA, and LeBron is the enemy.

They won't ever play for the Bulls (Lebron beefing with Noah, Wade scared of Rose's people) but I'd never turn down an opportunity to get a player of their caliber.

What, LoL
Actually i was serious.....
So you wouldnt want the best NBA player in the league on your team because you think hes your enemy?
ok................
:oprah:

Thats crazy.
Was Dennis Rodnan your enemy too?
You must of been pretty pissed when the enemy joined the Bulls..
SO IF YOU WERE A KNICKS FAN IN THE 90S YOU WOULDNT WANT JORDAN ON YOUR TEAN BECAUSE HES THE ENEMY?

Well ok, i understand your philosophy now.......fine, lets just stick to bringing Sanford And Son players here since they arnt the enemy.
LoL
Forget championships...

Yep, that's what I said. Fans like you act like the Bulls need LeBron to win a championship. And if you have any kind of emotional connection to this team, beating LeBron in the Eastern Conference Finals would be like achieving the highest Nirvanna. There would be no greater reward as a Bulls fan than watching LeBron walk off the court pouting while the Bulls celebrate their accomplishment. Adding him to the mix would just make it all about him and what he did. FVck that.

While that's an appetizing thought, I think there's one better accomplishment.....

although beating Lebron on the way would be icing on the cake though

I find myself at a very uncomfortable crossroads. On one hand, I find you you to be an unquestionably whiny doosh. However, I agree with your post 100%.

Nobody remembers much about the Bulls beating the Pistons without them winning the NBA title. I would take Lebron James on my team in a heartbeat, because winning titles is what matters...
I remember everything about the Bulls finally getting by the 'Jordan rules', and the Pistons. The Pistons were the epitome of your 'take you out defense', and the Bulls beat them at their own game!
