As a race fan, I thought this was pretty cool from the Broncos schedule release

on edit: I have no idea why this does not seem to want to display the video. It's Lewis Hamilton trying foods from where each team is located.

On this note, it looks like twitter is going to phase out the twitter domain name soon. I got a message saying as much today when I logged in. ATTN admin or whoever has to fix the embedding.

I would’ve been very unexcited.
You mean after now knowing we went out and traded for K.Allen or you would of been unexcited when all we had was DJ Moore? I think he would of been a really good signing if we didn't get K.Allen and with the drafting of Odunze. Teammates in Buffalo talked really good about him and how's he's a absolute dog on the field and is all about being a team guy.

I’m selling that take lol

ive got very little confidence in Eberflus coaching in big time games at this point. He hasn’t seen enough success coaching to think he could march a team through the playoffs.
There will definitely be a learning curve for Flus just like there's a learning curve for players coming from college to the NFL. He got some good learning in since he's been here with things like using timeouts and things like that but you're right he'll need to learn how to do things in the playoffs compared to regular season.

Imagine getting pumped up over a Nick Wright take
I hate the guy for his historically bad Denver Nuggets takes, but like Jay Mariotti, when Satan agrees with you it's the sweetest feeling in the whole world.

If you're a simp that is.

Seems like the Bears put out the most cringe worthy one that i've seen so far. The bloopers from ours is better/funnier than the actually video.
Yeah, I don't get the love for their reveal. It was bad.

I simply don't believe he's worth what he got paid. I would rather find someone through other means. For example, Tyler Boyd signed a deal for 4.5 million. I'd take him at that than give 40 million to Davis. I'd pay Hollywood the 1 year deal KC gave him instead too. Granted, those guys may not have signed with the Bears, but those are just examples of options. I just think Gabe is just a very average player... inconsistent... not an exciting signing at top market value. He's been on a great offense with an elite QB and never been noteworthy. His drop rate isn't good... he fumbles enough for his touches... etc. etc.

I wouldn't have known about Allen... or Odunze... or even that Diggs was traded. But assuming all else fell in place, I would've been wondering why we didn't trade for Allen or Diggs instead. Or if we landed Odunze, I simply would've thought we could've just skipped signing Davis all-together cause he'd be our 4th target by midseason at the latest, but making almost as much as our 2nd and 3rd targets combined. If none of that happened, I still would've rather seen us draft a WR somewhere in the draft.

I certainly can be wrong, which is fine... I can't speak to his character other than I never had concerns with him in that way. I just don't like what Davis brings at his cost.

I agree...albeit the odds are against it....you know by now I'm defense minded first, mainly because when you have a great defense, a team is most always in the game to the end....last season da Bears, as you know, had 7 wins, plus they lost 5 games by 7 points or less. (1) by 7. 3 games by 3. Can CW get 7-10 points more per game? IF he can, da Bears are definitely in the hunt for a SB LIX victory. I can vision a Bears '69 Miracle Mets' season. Which I'm still sick to my stomach over.

My biggest fear for this upcoming season is, maybe surprisingly, our defense. I know they were different after getting sweat, but I'm just not sold yet with the bad pass rush.

Can it be possible Flus learned from his last season's mistakes? Time will tell.

Figured I’d make this thread just for social media videos having to do with the Bears, instead of looking for one that fits.

From his #1 WR mouth… He keeps smiling too.

Anticipation throws, what many of us here thought was a weakness of Fields.

I like this comment, but on the other hand, I find it hard to believe anyone has trouble throwing anticipatory balls with no pass rush. Heck, I can go out into my yard now and throw some of those to my son and look like a world beater… but if there was a pass rush and my vision is cloudy because a 300 pound lineman is in my grill, I doubt I would look so good.

So why is DJ saying this: 1) he is a company guy and knows that is narrative the Bears want to promote, and 2) he is hopeful and wants to believe in the kid.

Long story short, let’s wait until the season… at least until after a few practices in fall camp before we start getting extra giddy. A little giddy — yeah — I’m feeling it too. Extra giddy and with bold proclamations — I caution everyone that it might be a little too early for those.

Agreed....but imo, America's Favorite Serial Killer and Pickens will take the next step up in their careers. And yes da Bears need more sacks opposite Sweat. Time will tell.

I agree that we cannot assume the defense is going to continue to as a top 5 defense like the numbers were saying at the end of last year. I still think they will be above average and borderline top 10 if Sweat stays healthy and Dexter makes a 2nd year jump.

I disagree. It is probably the best one of all.

It is a montage of films such as Ferris Bueller's Day Off (partially filmed in Chicago), Breakfast Club (filmed in Cook County), Home Alone (Filmed in Chicago) and possibly Mean Girls (not filmed in Chicago).

For the Chicago Bears, using famous comedy movies filmed in Chicago as the inspiration for the schedule release video for 2024 was genius, just like the 2023 was another genius film for that schedule release.

I believe the reason many believe it is cringe is because many did not get the homage to those films because most of the films were from the same vintage as the '85 Bears, Mean Girls being the newest film at 20 years old.

One example.
