Why bring him up? Because we need 5 OFers. That's why.
If he's not playing everyday it makes no sense. This probably means LaHair is riding pine.

you would think judging by his name he would understand that.
Right, because DeJesus, LaHair, Soriano, all BIG pieces of the future of Chicago Cubs baseball. We get rid of a 4th OFer, to bring up a young OFer to take that place, while we let 3 guys in their 30s play. You guys really nailed it on the head.
That's my point. Do you really think that they would play 3 30 year olds that are going no where over BJax?
Yep, they're gonna bring him up to ride the pine.
You're such a great judge of character!
you either cant read or you are dumb as ****....wait i think you are both
When you're right, you're right. I think Randy Wells is going to take Garza's spot in the rotation. Maybe get comeback player of the year. Whatcha think?

I really think he finally figured out his sinker. I truly do. He's got that working for him and he's unstoppable.

But he's injured right now?

I covered this in the BJax thread, but I will just post here that the timing of the removal was odd. But Jackson was double switched out of the game in a move that makes sense when you look at the context of the situation (saving pitchers because the roster is going to be raided soon). I think Sappelt will get the call since I believe he is already on the 40 man roster. As if there aren't other options for a backup OF down in Iowa. Oh wait... there's Adduci and Sappelt. Both suck, but they'd be good temporary backup OFs.
So, why bring up a guy you still view as a prospect that's clearly not ready... when you can bring up one of two other guys down in AAA?
