Look there is no way to prove this one way or the other. If you want to live in a world that every team in the AL is better than the NL, I guess I can't stop you.

The AL as a whole is >>>>>>>>>>>> than the NL. Any other beliefs are delusional thoughts.

And so therefore teams that are struggling to be above .500 are automatically contenders in the NL...

i would say its better overall..

but not by a whole lot

the AL central and NL central are relatively close

there are no really great teams in either division

i will say that AL central teams do play some higher quality opponents like the Yanks,Red Sox,etc. more often

Sox own the NL. I wish we were in the NL.

Gee an AL Team with good pitching and a bad offense would do better against the NL than it does against the AL. I'm shocked. Too bad the rest of your division was below .500 except for the Indians and White Sox.

Phillies are the only really worrisome team in the NL.

Gallardo, Greinke, Marcum plus their solid bullpen & wicked lineup.

Sorry disagree there.

they are a good team overall as well as the cardinals(although their offense is really dang good..but the sox have better pitching)

mil's pitching is good but not great overall..a little above average ERA wise(they are higher up in hits allowed,WHIP,etc. but still)..and their offense is a little above average too

phillies are the only truly great team imo(although i do think mil is a good team dont get me wrong)

in the al you have the yanks and the sox

frankly, i wonder what the standings will be once things even out a little more at the end of the season

baseball is a very streaky up and down game..which makes it so interesting

If you don't think the Brewers are legit, you are crazy. Good starting pitching, good bullpen and a solid lineup.

im a fan of them, but they are still a weak club when comparing the brewers to AL contenders.

Brewers could beat anyone besides the Yanks/Red Sox.

Who else is an AL Contender? Rangers/Angels? Detroit? Brewers could beat any of them.

ok, any team can beat any team in any series. You do know that the NL is weaker than the AL right? You put any of the top 3 or 4 teams in the AL central and drop them into the NL central they will be right there with the brewers. two different leagues.

You speak in absolutes. It is so black and white. You do know that there is a grey area, right? That grey area is why the White Sox won in 2005 and why St. Louis won in 2007 or 2008. The grey area is the ONLY reason why baseball is even watchable. Otherwise, the way you see things, there should be a 2 team playoff in the AL (Yanks vs Red Sox) and the winner should meet the Phillies in the World Series..... for the past 3 years!

The AL has been better then the NL, but that gap is closing quickly. And if you put the Tigers/Indians/White Sox in the NL Central, they are sitting 2 to 8 games back of the Brewers.

The Brewers are legit. The Tigers/Indians/White Sox are a bunch of scrub teams.

I'm really sorry that you don't see this, but it is what it is.

yes, in the NL the brewers are legit. And no, none of those teams would be 8 games back. that is laughable. put the brewers in the AL central, let me know how that would work out for ya. That is one highly flawed baseball team if they were in the AL, they would be exposed. The sox also own the NL, and would be just fine in the AL. At the lowest they are 5 wins better if not ALOT more in the NL central. you are taking things at face value with the w/l record.
