yes, in the NL the brewers are legit. And no, none of those teams would be 8 games back. that is laughable. put the brewers in the AL central, let me know how that would work out for ya. That is one highly flawed baseball team if they were in the AL, they would be exposed. The sox also own the NL, and would be just fine in the AL. At the lowest they are 5 wins better if not ALOT more in the NL central. you are taking things at face value with the w/l record.

Um no, I'm not taking things at face value.

The Brewers are a straight up better team then the Sox.

They have compareable starting pitching (their top 2 are better then anyone the Sox have), they have compareable bullpen pitching and a MUCH better hitting lineup, PITCHER included.

How the hell are you so blinded by Sox love that you can't see the Brewers are a damn good team? The AL is not that much better then the NL.

first off im one of the most negative sox fans here.

the AL is better than the NL. If you want to think otherwise, be my guest.

now isnt it time you start swearing with no facts to back up any of your points? you dont even know wrigley/rice cube etc....they are descent posters that arent looking to get into fights. you seem to think everyone wants to fight you. go argue with rush about th packers and bears.

Congrats, you are negative. That was already established.

The AL isn't THAT much better then the NL.

I'm talking about the Brewers and the Sox.

Avoid the conflict when it doesn't suit your opinion. Or rage-quit. Those are the two options you usually pick.. Keep it up :)

Answer the post.

Not avoiding anything.

now run along and blame KW for signing Adam Dunn. I lost respect for any of your opinions when you said that.

I don't think the Brewers will make it to the NLCS. I think it will be Giants and Phillies again. The Sox chances against those teams are also small.

giants and phillies rotations are insane.

That's exactly why I think they will be in the NLCS again. Pitching wins in the playoffs. That's also why I think the NL will win. Both the Yankees and Red Sox don't have good enough pitching. Either Phillies or Giants win the WS.

Yep. Don't bet against pitching in the postseason.

Then according to that logic if the WS win the Central the Junkies n Bahston can't win vs WS because we have better pitching??? I don't think so they have something we haven't seen n a while called hitting and lots of it and they can outslug any NL team regardless of their Pitching. If those boys ain't careful Texas can hit with anyone! As far as Milwaukee if they were in the AL they wouldn't make the playoffs, period!

they really have to sweep to make this a 2 horse race, and on top of that the rangers come to town, so you have to sweep in a way because we will probably lose 2 of 3.

True that. I thought it was funny that Dews' initial post in this thread was on July 2nd and we were at .500 and 3.5 games out. So a month and a half later, we are 1 game over and 3.5 games back.

Goes to show you that we need to play 5-6 games BETTER then .500 if we want this division. And it's still very possible, all things considered!

I am still in shock of where we are at with Rios sucking, Dunn Sucking, The bp in the beginning of the year blowing 9th inning leads, pierre sucking at the plate and in the outfield and the 6 game losing streak at fucking home.

Just imagine we don't blow those games, we get runs in the end of some of these games and win a couple more games that went to extras. This division is ours without question if that happens.

I think the Sox have a good chance to win the division if they can beat the Twins and Tigers.

i think the sox have a good chance

baseball is really up and down when you consider batting...though i do think pitching wise that is where you see more consistency...and pitching is definitely in the sox' favor imo..should be interesting to see how it unfolds
