Perhaps Shaw bit him, but pretty hard to see from that video, and with where Shaw's head was most of the time he would be mucching on the pads on the chest not the side. But what ever, stuff like that happens more in those scrums than most would believe.

Hedman probably got cooties from Keith earlier in the game and Shaw's nasty breath and toxic sweat just agitated them.

Anyone see the video of the exercise that Killorn does with a stick and a puck shown tonight during Don Cherry's Coach's Corner (about 50 seconds in) on CBC's Hockey Night in Canada? TCD?

That goal was not a fluke.

Killorn:

"I mean, you don't expect to score on those shots, but I was just trying to sort of hit it toward the net," Killorn said. "Not something you practice, but lucky it went in.

Doc: Tampa and Chicago haven't played in the playoffs before, and when they finally do, it's for the Stanley cup.

Sweet fucking christ I can't believe those words came out of his mouth. Between that and them laying a samsung phone over the screen to show highlights but smaller... fucking NBC... get your shit together. Horse racing during faceoffs?

Killorn's goal was either extreme luck or skill and I have to admit was beautiful either way...it was a changeup worthy of Sopel. I wouldn't call it soft at all--the speed and angle both changed and from that distance almost any netminder would have overcommitted.

I didn't see Shaw allegedly bite Hedman, but then again I didn't see the classy tampa fan flip the bird after Antoinne Merriwether's goal. If it's true though, Shaw's gotta be better than that and not pull a Burrows.

All in all my only real complaint was the passing. It needs to be much better. T² was the best skater on the ice.

Flip it however, but still, 3 wins left :)

I love how it's a fluky goal because Tampa scored it but if it were Hawk player to score, it would be "Oh, what a goal. That should be goal of the year"

Again, sometimes you have to tip your cap to the other team.

What'd you do...go back to what I said on page 8 and just changed a few words?

"If a Blackhawks player executes that tip, I get the feeling that we are calling it a "sick/dirty tip". I would tend to agree with what we should call it...it was a great play and one hell of a hand/eye. Have to just tip your hat on that one. "

No, I'd be saying it's flukey, like Killorn said his was.

That goal was lucky as shit, as impressive as it was there is no fucking way it wasn't luck on a no look deflection like that.

You guys crack me up. He put it right where it needed to go. I've watched tons of ping pong matches back in a day and this was no different from the crazy shit you see in that sport. If Kaner put that in there like that you'd be all over his jock and probably wet your pants.

It was flukey, that however doesn't change the fact that it was awesome. And if a Blackhawks player did it probably most of us would have gone crazy.

Sometimes it's better to be lucky than good.

I am not denying that it was spectacular or that if a Hawks player had scored it I would have gone nuts. Both are in fact true. My thought leads more towards if that is all they got they are in for a short series. Luck runs out pretty quickly.

Too bad it was skill and not luck. How about this, if Crow gloves that shit, is that luck? **** NO. They've got some skill. I think they wasted all of their momentum in their first period blitzkrieg and we'll probably see more of a sustained effort from them on Saturday, but even then I feel like the Hawks are showing what experience and even DEPTH (that a lot of people think we don't have much of) can do for the quest for the cup.

Not selling the Bolts short at this point, even if we want to convince ourselves that they can only contend with luck. They were muscling the shit out of us last night too, don't forget.

I'm not saying this won't be a cakeroll despite that, because I #calledit
