The Bears are not innocent. They have their share of undesirables. Regardless, Mike Green has never been charged by the Police and he denies any wrong doing. He was investigated by both schools and the NCAA, finding no wrong doing. Baltimore throughly investigated on their own, finding no wrong doing.
You do not have any idea whether Baltimore investigated a thing. Some NFL GMs would draft a good DE if he raped their daughters.

When there is big $ involved, charges being dropped or victims being suddenly silenced is not a clear indication of innocence.

A charge when he's on the eve of the draft, unsubstantiated and a first time thing? Yeah, I could believe it's somebody trying to extort a buck.

Charges in high school? Doubtful. Charges in college? Same.

Same allegations by totally different people unaware of the other, several years apart? I would be far more likely to believe these are not the only two than I would be to believe they're both independently making it up against a guy who at the time had nothing.

He's an athlete who you have to scheme to get the ball to, and something like 80% of his college targets were less than 10 yards. IMO those types of players struggle to do well in the NFL until they can win down the field more consistently. I've seen Deebo comparisons, I'd say Deebo was stronger and more polished at this point, but there are similarities.

He is talented, but really not much of a route runner. Runs mostly to space in the videos. Lazy breaks and meh technique catching the ball, although obviously talented and good hands and very athletic. Bit of a boom bust imo, and hopefully has a good attitude (lots of mouths to feed right now and he's probably not going to be at the top of the pecking order) although there seems to be some question about that in his review.
He reminds more of Terry McLaren then debo. Terry was used inna similar fashion at OSU. Part of the Problem at Mizzou is he was the offense. And everyone knew it.

His best 3rd level route as of right now is the slot fade and it's not even close. He has that dialed from both sides of the field and has the awareness to use late hands.

I don't think Moore is like St brown either. I think Burden and Moore are pretty similar, both YAC guys, neither great route runner, but great mix of power and speed, although I thought Moore was a better prospect.
Moore has blossomed into a polished route runner since then. I also believe he was a better prospect.

He's a solid route runner, not a great one imo.

To your other post, slot fade is really the only downfield route that Burden runs pretty well, and it's tough to tell how that will be against press coverage.

That is what worries me. That is what Detroit's success was based on.

Running the ball well is the best way to win games on offense, imo.

Yeah because the greatest running backs have won so many Super Bowls on their way to the Hall of Fame.

You really don't make sense most of the time.

Teams that run the ball well tend to win more. They don't need HoF backs to do this. This is not really that tough to understand.

I'm not too Worried about Burdens mentals.. Johnson has that Block before Rock philosophy for his wrs and Tes. he'll get buy in from everyone. D.J Moore showed a ton of frustration on the field last year. It happens. These guys are passionate about what they do. Football means everything to Burden. They wouldn't have taken him had it been that concerning.

I do kind of wonder if the "character issues" with burden are a matter of he grew up in a really rough area and therefore comes off as ghetto because that was where he was raised. He seems to love the game though as that was his ticket out of that lifestyle

Baltimore themselves said they “looked very throughly” into the claims. They completed their due diligence and were good with the choice. Look it up.

The HS claim was never once reported to the police same as the college allegation. No money was exchanged in either allegation.

Mike Green self reported the “claims” at the combine. He had nothing to hide and wasn’t trying.

I don’t know with certainty if he did or didn’t but what I do know he was never criminally charged.

Just like the Bears shoulda drafted Tunsil, Carter, and now Green.
