I think it tests 21000 or so.
Our economy was strong before the virus.
I think it takes upwards of one year to reach back to 300000.
It'll happen though and those stocks that got hammered will bounce back.

I love BA right now
I love the cruise line plays but I am not sure if they have seen a bottom.
I love Visa, Amazon, Microsoft, Google, Square,
I dont understand Apple but am heavily invested.
I love any REIT that is involved in storage.

I believe that what you invest in now, will make you wealthy in 15 yrs.
You got any thought on Plant based companies like Beyond? Ever since my wife went vegetarian and we've been eating more of it, I've thought about investing. I think it will be a huge market in a decade. ConAgra also has a plant based product line called "Gardein" and they trade for half of what Beyond does.

IMO, it is niche. A quick look shows it went down hard like everything else and tested that bottom. Its risen 12.00 bucks in 5 days.
I don't know their business models though.
Do they seek growth in new corporations like McDonalds or Yum brands?

First thoughts are you missed the boat. If you got in early, it'd be great but at 72.00 and some change per share,I'm not thrilled about that.

They say to invest in companies you believe in so if you are a believer and see value in being a shareholder, go for it.

I don't think beyond meat is going away any time soon and I'd argue there is room to get bigger but I just dont know enough about it.

Look at Under Armour.Different industry but at one time, they were what everyone wanted. Look at em now. The stock reached max potential and there is no more growth there.

Hope that helps you.

A little off topic here, but I like Chewy. Lot of people bought pets during the quarantine. Only thing that sucks is it's selling at a current high, so I'm not sure if it'll go higher after the virus, but I bought a couple shares. Other than that, most of my money is in stuff like Disney, Microsoft, Boeing, etc. I'm still learning this stuff so I'm not even sure if I'm researching properly.

chewy is a great stock to own. Not sure about the current levels being a good entry point. I bought shares at around $29 a share. on one hand, you don’t want to buy in too high, and the other hand you don’t want to miss out on it. Amazon has done that to me for a long time...always look at it and think, “I’ll wait till it drops.” Then it never does really, and I’m left sitting here wishing I would of bought in a few years ago and now probably will never own it lol

I made $$ shorting it before the quarantine occurred. I think it’s a fad, personally. Then throw in the fact the business isn’t able to fully operate currently(they aren’t able to sell their treadmills due to they require they have their people come to you house to set it up) combined with they’ve been spending a shit ton of $$, and I could see them belly up in a year or two. Just my opinion, though. There’s a case to made for being bullish, as well

I have to hold things for 30 days as work in industry. I didn't buy it for a lifetime, will be selling at some point fairly soon ?

Also, why did they go public? Why do they need a board? It's excercise bikes. Make em and sell em. What do you need investors money for? How much can you expand?
This goes for Chewy too. I don't like public companies that don't need to be public to be successful.
If you go public, you have a growth plan or you are stealing investors money.

Amazon is the amazon of pet supplies IMO. If you hold Chewy, the best possible outcome would be a Amazon takeover of Chewy

which, I would imagine is quite possible down the road. I just know there’s a ton of crazy pet owners out there that want to have their pet supplies delivered to their door. My mother is one of them for example...pretty sure she gets boxes from chewy every week. When I have been walking around my neighborhood, I’ve noticed a lot of those blue chewy boxes hanging out in people’s garages. I’d imagine chewy has more products to offer than amazon due to it being specialized...however, I don’t KNOW it.

chewy has certainly been showing lots of growth the last year or so. They went public I’d imagine to raise cash to build distribution centers around the country. I’ve seen news of them having plans to build a couple of them

it was pretty flat today, surprisingly. I’m still up 100%...going to keep riding with it for a lil while longer

Peloton has subscription services as well. Don't know all that much, but I guess there's more to them than just the equipment.
