Do you have any price target to sell it this year or pure hold regardless?

All of my positions are way ahead.... I am tempted to sell the stuff I've had for a year or more and take the tax-free profits for this year.

tax free profits are always a good decision. I don’t really have any intention of selling palantir anytime soon. Then again, if it were to double by years end...it’d be hard not to sell off and wait for a pullback. It’s a long term hold for me, though. ****, it’s at like $14.80 now lol

definitely leaning towards selling off some tech stocks overall...the run up has been so good. That’s said, I think the run up continues thru years end. January could get interesting

sell offs for tax purposes will help cause that January downward move. Obviously, Covid is a larger factor though. Palantir coming back down a lil now. Markets are def hard over a biden presidency and a GOP senate. Get some normalcy and stability without having their tax breaks threatened

Those that have Canadian pot stocks...I’d be careful. Biden isn’t likely to legalize pot at a federal level, only decriminalization. He’s said as much. Canadian pot companies will have to wait another 4+ years to get into the American market.

I've wondered about this.

It feels like Capitalist America would build up their own pot corporations before allowing Canadian companies to dominate our market in any form.

What stops our mega farm corps from simply expanding into marijuana or our large retailers from selling pot or forming new chain stores to sell pot?

We have the Windy City Cannabis chain in Illinois.... I imagine a Walgreens of pot will exist near-nationally before Canadian companies get into our market.

I'm not buying what this article is selling.

It is a commodity that a store sells.

We already have State/Regional marijuana chain stores.

We already have State/Regional growers.

We already have companies that produce weed products (vape) in pretty standard ways with standard packaging.

Literally once it is legal Federally, Walgreens could just decide to start stocking product and selling it.

Like any National chain they may sell regional products in addition to national ones, but I am not seeing how it is that weed couldn't be sold by a national chain once Federally they are allowed to do so.

And the notion that American Capitalists won't corporatize weed is just beyond naive.

I thought the reasons were poor as well.

Altria could literally put a news press out that they are entering the dope game and their stock price would rise.
Enter growth and seed money(pun intended) to actually enter the game.
And Canopy is sort of the closest with Constellation brands(parent company of Corona beer) to being the first.


It's kind of like everyone and their mother saying "we are entering the electric vehicle race" but not actually having an EV to sell.

Stocks are weird man. Perceived value does wonders for companies.
