The market likes when there is a split party balancing the senate, house, SCOTUS and presidency.

I'm killing it. My advisor at Vanguard told me I had the number one performing portfolio of all his clients as we structure mine collaboratively

I called my advisor at Vanguard, he said these lists don't exist and it's something they tell knob heads who get in the way more than anything.

I don't think they rank them like grade school girls ranking the cuteness of the 5th grade boys in their class.

Imagine an advisor you pay saying what a great job he is doing. Kind of like carpenters you pay saying the the room they just built is the best ever. Very Trumpy.

I'll bet you're not the only idiot that your advisor has told is the best performer ever.

it’s almost as if the advisor tells every client that to make them feel good about the “job” he’s doing. In the words of his hero, “he’s a sucker.”

Same, in around 9 and change.

I prefer not to pay income tax on my capital gains.... but it will be tempting if it keeps up on this run, almost doubled our money.

Shoulda bought more.... does any investor not have that thought on runs like this?

definitely have the same thoughts. Then, you start pondering...****, should I buy more and cost avg up?! Like, is this thing going to keep going up and never see this price range ever again?! It already seems like it won’t be seeing single digits again. And at least no income taxes then still lol

...but in the end I’ll coward out and just hold what I have

Okay Palantir...calm down for even just a day or two. It’d make me feel better about these gains. Over $28 a share now ?
