Yeah, by the time these guys get new accounts and verified, the hedge funds will have cashed out.

That's the thing though with a short squeeze. The hedge funds can't "cash out" They have bet that the stock would go down when they shorted. When it went up, they kept shorting. Now come tomorrow, they are forced to buy on margin calls. This will send the stock up again.
What you are seeing now is retailers bailing on the stock, but the lasting effects of this could go on for a while.

All that said, would I buy again? Maybe if it starts sailing again. This is 100% gambling though. The stock is shit.

I said earlier, if I am a hedge fund, I'd buy now joining retailers. They shorted from 20 to 30 and then on so they are screwed either way.

mofo has some splainin to do. What's he sayin?

"This was a difficult decision."

"We have capital requirements."

"We only restricted buying on 13 securities, but X number of other securities continued trading, and our customers could sell positions in those 13 securities"

"We're working hard to make it so we can re-enable buying in those securities."

"We did this on our own, with no direction by any other financial or regulatory...." - this was scripted af and I forgot it all

I think the mobile apps acorn, webull, robinhood are great. They get people into the game and take the mystery away from investing.

IMO though, if you are serious about investing ya gotta start an account with a real broker. People who you can call when there is a need.

I love this argument that little people's pension funds are being hurt by these short squeezes on the Hedge Funds.

Why the **** are pensions investing in risky hedge funds?

Why the **** would hedge funds throw pension money into such a risky short position on GameStop?

Oh right, the whole argument is bullshit.

Can I be brutally honest?

Idk why RobinHood even exists.

When I started investing, I simply went to TDA's website, created an account, deposited money, and bought stocks.

I didn't have to pay to create the account, or use their app, and now trades are commission free as well.

Acorn at least has a unique funding option....

Idk wtf WeBull is, never seen it.

I also use TDA and their Think or Swim app for day-trading. I do like webulls charts for mobile. Webull is basically like Robinhood. I don't use either. But when I am on the road, I use webulls minute charts.
They have pretty nice setups. I use VWAPs and SMA and EMA. Webull lets me install the MACD which is my jam.

If anyone is pissed off about the "It's a big club and you ain't in it" reaction of Wall Street when the rabble got their nerve up to do what Wall Street has been doing forever, I'd suggest you find a stream of the documentary "Inside Job" and take a gander at the vile criminal practices committed by the same cocksuckers that clamped down on the "free market" today, and it only cost us $20,000,000,000,000 to bail them out and no one went to jail for it.
