Either im stupid tired or just stupid. Idk what you're trying to say here.

??

Quiznos always had ridiculously awesome sandwiches but you could hardly walk in the door without spending ten bucks. They were way too expensive before places like Panera came around.

I am talking back when you could get a burger and fries for like 3 dollars it was still over ten every time you went to Quiznos. Today, that isn't so bad, but back then it was kinda ridiculous. I don't think they ever raised their prices, and about the time they went belly up they were fairly market aligned price wise.

Portnoy is right. What they are doing is 100% bullshit. The little guy is winning, now the big guy is taking their ball and going home.
For sure. Reading through R/Wallstreetsbets - some of those guys were posting pictures of paying off their 20k in student loans and one dude posted that he can now afford to put his sister through leukemia treatment. A lot of them were posting about giving some of their profit away to charity.

Was there some market manipulation happening from them? Probably, but seems to be a gray area. They found a stock that was heavily shorted and they exposed it and hedge funds got caught with their dick in their hands. **** them.

I have never in my life eaten Quiznos.

I have nothing against the franchise, I just never had an opportunity to try it.... and it is one of those that I wouldn't strictly go out of my way to try.

Like I had never eaten Pot Belly until I worked in a building that more/less shared the ground floor with a Pot Belly.

Pot Belly reminds me of your Quiznos stuff.... generally you're spending 15$ even if it is just sandwich, chips, and drink.

Firehouse Subs is that same way. Just a regular hot sandwich with no real side choices except for chips.

Quiznos was that sort of place before that sort of place became really popular.

it’s embarrassing society allows this to happen. wall street gets to keep their yachts and pent houses but the average joe cant make an extra bit of money? there are many people who invested a lot more than i have and need the money a lot more than i do, i’m just trying to build a little of my net worth before graduation. i couldn’t imagine what needing to pay for my brother or sister’s leukemia treatment and have this bull shit happen feels like.

Listen up WCBF - the average joe is not supposed to have any kind of wealth or savings. They are to work 40-50 hours/week at slave wages, live in poverty, with no health insurance, pick up side gigs like Uber to make ends meet, no starbucks and definitely no avocado toast. Pull yourselves up by the bootstraps This is the American dream they tell us

Gotcha. I remember it being pricey but then again, most sub chains not named Subway are around here. Large, hot jersey mikes subs are ridiculous these days. I do miss the days where you could get McDs cheeseburgers for like .30 and get a massive bad of Taco Bell for $7

I never came out of a Quizno's thinking I just paid twice as much as subway or something. Their sandwiches are better, their bread is denser, and they would toast it for you long before Subway copied them.

Somebody visited an overpriced Quizno's at an airport or Mall court or something...sure it was a buck or two more than subway for a slightly better sandwich...thats what we are bitching about here, probably a subway stock holder or starbucks with a vendetta.
