Jags
49ers
Browns
Tampa

Those are the only 3 teams I feel comfortable are worse than the Bears.

Agreed, although I think the 9ers and Bucs might be on the same level as the Bears.

As luck would have it, as you think the Bears are going to put themselves in position for, at least, a top 5 pick, there's more bad teams than ever this year.

I think that they are both incompetently coached and have worse QBs.

Kaepernick is a huge joke.

My favorite teams
  1. Chicago Cubs
  1. Chicago Bulls
  1. Chicago Bears
  1. Chicago Blackhawks
I haven't changed my mind since week 1. I think we will be picking around 12-14. If Jeffery comes back and starts playing like it is a contract year then maybe we pick in the high teens.

There is not a single team that is 0-4. After tonight, it looks like only the Lions will be without a win. There are a lot of mediocre teams.

People seem to forget that Jeffery has not been playing. We might even get White for the 2nd half. The offense has quite a bit of talent. I would say top half of the league pretty easily.

I think a lot of people forget how tough those first 3 games were. We are not as bad as we looked in those games.

Mediocre teams would be a step up from these crap teams. Usually there are a lot of mediocre teams. This year there are a lot of bad teams. These 2 teams playing right now are bad teams for different reasons. With so many bad teams, they have to get wins here and there as they play other bad teams.

If all you're in it for is to get wins over the other bad teams, I don't see the point.

No, they were as bad as they looked in those game. It's just that most the rest of the league isn't as good as those teams.

That is your perception.

One last-second win, and suddenly everyone thinks the Bears are back to being mediocre.

I don't think they're suddenly world beaters. I thought it was an enjoyable game to watch, and the team has shown flashes.

with as much as people keep talking about it being a rebuild year, what exactly are your expectations when you're seemingly deflated by the fact they can't beat playoff caliber teams to start out the season with all new coaching and a different defensive scheme using players from an entirely different one?

Sure but I've watched NFL for a long time and don't remember as many bad teams. Usually you have some real good teams, a lot of mediocre teams and a handful or less of bad teams but so many more bad teams this year. A lot of teams nobody expected to go to shit did like, the Texans, Dolphins, Colts, Ravens, Chargers, Eagles, Lions, and add to them the team most of us knew would be crap like the Jaguars, Bucs, Raiders, Browns, Titans, Skins, Bears, Saints, Niners and that's half the league that is just bad. Throw Dallas in there too as we see their defense reduced to looking like girl scouts late in the game as per usual and their offense severely lacking after being decimated with key, long term injuries.

If this actually happens, a lot of people will be pissed. That means no Goff, which means we're gonna take Andy Dalton Jr. in Connor Cook and he'll disappoint.

Agreed. Give it a couple more weeks. I'll be honest. I want them to pick high next year, so they can be at the top of each round and they can get their QB in Goff.

There are a lot of teams that do not look good at all now, who have also played much worse opponents than the Bears. The race for 1st overall (or even top 5) is wide open.

Dare i say the rams look pretty good and could get even better. Bungles 4-0. Every season is a changing of the tides. Next year it'll be us!
