they send him back down yet? He's clearly not even close to ready.

Doesn't he get 10 games or something first? Or did he use those.

TT just needs more time. The running into Kane thing was a matter of not enough practice with him. I was surprised Q gave him time on that line honestly. Took Richards preseason and 10 games in before he started clicking on that line. Wouldn't be surprised to see a rotation of centers/forwards called up from the Hogs, each getting a few games and sent back down until Steeg gets back.

Agree to disagree, but Teuvo doesn't look NHL ready.

Danault or McNeill would've been the better call up.

I'm not saying this is the case here, but some times in order to be good players have to be with good players. People who have the skill to play with the skill. And vise versa I guess... guys who light it up in the A and then can't keep a puck on their stick with the big boys. Only time will tell at this point if he's ready or not, last night he sure didn't look like it, but you'll need more than 10 minutes to be the judge.

To wit: Saad's 1st partial year with the 'hawks he looked unimpressive--granted, that's when he was a slide risk.

Way too early to close the book on TT yet, but he did look so far out of his depth he needed water wings.

He didn't look good but give the guy a chance. Way to early to judge after just one game. It's a big step up to the NHL and the Hawks are the "top step". It even took Richards a few games to get up to speed with the way they play (he's still slow and won't finish a check though).

It's not even one game. It's basically 10 minutes of being fucked around with six different linemates... Can he at least get some consistent linemates and PP time for a game or two before we pass judgement? Jesus. He may not be ready, but that 10 minutes of icetime with guys he has hardly practiced with AT ALL is not enough to make that decision.

You have to consider all the pressure this kid is under too. He's probably got to get over the nerves a bit being in the spotlight like this.

I still like that clear quick sense decision making you can see him have where he's making a play on where to move the puck the before he gets it and often seems to do so cleanly.
