Bad example, they were friends with Wiz - you don't beat up your friends. They worked it out - Seabrook stood up in the Wiz wedding when all was said and done.

OMFG

Just stop... on the ice you stick up for your teammates no matter how much you like an opposing player off the ice. It's a war zone out there and there are no friends. Just because Grimson and Probert would go out for beers after the beat eachother's faces in didn't mean they were friends on the ice.

So I guess Keith and Wiz weren't friends off the ice because he sure jumped right in since Eager didn't want to do anything.

Jeez Fuffle... /facepalm

I'd like to know who told him Seabrook stood up in Wiz's wedding.

Since I know them both, pretty well and Fluff doesn't know what the **** he's talking about.

When you're wrong I'm gonna call it out. Comparing Skille to Eager is stupid - they are totally different players, with different make-up. One's a skill/finesse player, and the other relies on brute strength and physical play. When you know how to compare apples-to-apples we'll talk.

I think the comparison was to just compare 2 4th line players production.

Yep I got it - they're all 4th liners (Eager, Skille, Scott). I just think the comparison was bad with Skill-to-Eager as they are different types of players. One's a skill/finesse guy, the other is an enforcer. Usually it's best to compare an enforcer-to-enforcer.

They are not. If anything they are more similar than you think. Remind me where in the draft Eager was drafted then go find a fucking clue. Because right now you don't know what the **** you are talking about!

I'll give you a clue, first round draft pick. He was not drafted as a fucking fighter.

When you learn something about the game let the rest of us dumb ******* know.

You're.... ...

anyway, John Scott is not even in the same area as Eager and Skille. He's not even a 4th liner. He's inserted into the lineup for a specific reason. Eager and Skille play/ed a majority on the 4th line with stints on the 3, 2, and even first. They are everyday fucking players and first round draft picks. Because they have a thing called skill. To compare them to Scott is a travesty. You might as well just call them Parros, Janssen, or Koci. For fucks sake what are you on that causes you to spit such nonsense.

I just don't understand how you call yourself a fan but know so little. At no time ever was Eager an enforcer. Did he fight? Yes, was he looked up as the person to stick up for people yes, but he was always expected to do more than fight, he was supposed to produce, and at no time was a conversation had that went like this:

GM: Do you think we need an enforcer.

Coach: Enforcer? You mean another one? We have Ben Eager.

Who was the enforcer on this team last year? It was Eager. He had talent, he could play the game. Losing him hurt the team because he was replaced with Scott who could fight but not play the game. When you compare players you should do an apples-to-apples. Skille-to-Eager makes no sense.

It doesn't matter where he was drafted. He's a 4th liner, middleweight enforcer. That's where his talent level and size led him. His game is the physical end of it, checking, fighting, hitting. Skille, the complete opposite - he relies on speed, quickness, and puck handling. Both are low level talent confined to the 4th line but I would never compare these 2 differing playing styles to one another.

He has 30 goals and 62 points in 289 games. That's more than ALL other enforcers in the league combined. Parros, Janssens, Koci, and anyone else you want to stick in there.

THIS TEAM DIDN'T HAVE AN ENFORCER! Why do you think people ***** about needing someone to protect Kane and Toews all season, they kept getting targeted and the physical teams took it too us and that was the strategy for beating us. Look at the teams that did well against us int he playoffs the physical teams, do you think anyone is afraid of Eager? NO, why, cause he's not a fucking enforcer. He had 8 fights last year and won less than half. Did you even watch last year? Usually bandwagon fans jump on while their are winning not after they won.

there is no discussing things with him. He's so ignorant he just doesn't know any better.

Fluff you are two seconds from being gone. Like it or not you will be back on the officials.

I thought we were going to talk more about the nice 'Hawks win? Maybe a new GDT is needed. Nashville is more interesting right now but I would rather not be staring at the arena from my room
