The seasons prediction contest is still locked out.

Sides have not been able to agree on what to predict.

Yep!

Actually I am going to go with Hawks 4-3. Everyone fired up to be back on the ice.

The 2nd best goaltender in the world will get owned!!

Lundqvist plays for the Kings now?

Kopitar won't be at the game little bastard is out 2-3 weeks.

Considering we could use a win against them early on, and since he has a history of pissing me off, I am kinda glad he won't be playing us.

Does not mean we will win, I see our core as a no show to start the season. Kings win in a boring ass game as usual.

Haha! Well the last time he was on Staples Center ice he was drunk... Maybe we can trick him into thinking its another Cup celebration? (Which it kind of is anyway)

After a long layoff like this, which usually comes back the quickest... offense or defense? I assume offense as it will take the defense some time to gel a bit?

We haven't had defense since 2010 anyway, so what's the problem?

Looking into my krystal ball...I see us clawing our way into the playoffs again because of our fearless goalie that has been letting in soft goals while we are switching goalies like a revolving door. .......and at the end when its one and done again....Crawford is gone. I love this team....I can't stand Crawford, maybe its because I am not buying into all the excuses people are making for him. Wait let me guess, this is actually his real rookie season right?

Crow had a pretty good rookie season and last year I'll chalk it up to sophomore slump, to me this is his make it or break it year. He stinks it up send him to the leafs. They collect lost causes in the net. And sign someone, probably end up with Lou.

IMHO Crawford has no legit excuses this year--he has to be fundamentally better regardless of the team playing in front of him and the final outcome of the game or we need a new goalie. Simple.

However, blame and consequences should be fair. Any journeyman skater who either disappeared (Kruger) or stank it up last year (Leddy, Bickell, Hammer) that is still on the team should be held to the same standard: shape up or we'll ship you out.
