I really can't say. I have a feeling on the subject but it would violate some confidentiality I have with friendships.

Thanks -- definitely don't want you to divulge direct info. I sure know I would get tired of a boss like that. Oy.

I can tell you one thing. I would fucking HATE to play for him with his constant line juggling. It is impossible to play consistent hockey when you don't have consistent linemates. Look around the NHL and tell me how many of the teams on top, are juggling lines like Q juggles them. None.

Sharks do. They have had Heatly Marleu and Thornton all over this year. BUT their other lines are pretty consistent. At least two of the three.

Q is baffling to say the least. The pulling of Craw with 2 minutes left last night was the last straw for me. Even if they had scored I'd have been pissed. That RARELY works. Why with the #1 PP in the league to you feel it neccessary to do that? If they don't score they lose, but at least give them the first half of the PP to try. It was after all the 4th PP. Eventually they'll score because they are good.

That's what I don't get, Pez. When Scotty ran the Wings, his lines were consistent not only game to game, but pretty much year to year (although the year to year thing was doable because there was no hard cap). You always knew which guys would be together unless Federov was in the doghouse and playing D.

With all the Bowmans around the Hawks, it surprises me that nobody has put a stop to Q's constant (and now seemingly nonsensical) juggling. He might have been able to get away with it last year because the team was so tight, having played together for years with only a couple of new additions. But I don't see how he could think it would work this year when so many newbies are in the fold. It's baffling.

To be fair, he only changes lines when things aren't working, or when they are.

Pitt's constantly shuffling Malkin around to different lines.

Scotty always had this philosophy - 2 scorers and 1 checking forward (which was usually the LW) on each line, so he had 3 balanced scoring lines.

I would love to hear what you think Q's philosphy is!

Sorry I only state the obvious to certain people. And even then it goes in one eye and out the other.

I don't agree with him doing this either...but guessing last nites "plan"..

Toews/Hossa..Brouwer

Bickell/Sharp...Kopecky

Bolland/Kane....Pisani

I hate when Kane or Hossa get stuck with Bolland. Q's tried every scoring winger possible with Bolland - and it never works, ever. It seems those are the games most he ends up juggling lines as the game goes on.

My favorite teams
  1. Chicago White Sox
  1. Chicago Fire
  1. Chicago Bears
  1. Chicago Blackhawks
Someone said that Scotty did get involved in some of the line decisions in the playoffs.

At least I thought read that here.

Stalberg playing on the top line is baffling. He's butter soft, except for his hands.

Not far from 127th and Archer
I'm guessing "ever" does not include 2008-09 and Havlat is not a "scoring" winger.
