Good hit by Erskine on Toews... don't want to hear anyone crying about that.

Looked awesome, were those like light up wrist bands or something the fans were wearing? Couldn't really tell.

On the ceremony, I thought it was pretty cool how they handled the banner hand off/raising. Back in 2010 it was the ambassadors of the Hawks' past and a wife beater handing off the first banner to be hung since they themselves had won it, almost like they were waiting all this time for it to happen. Tonight it was the future handing it off. I liked that. Fitting. I'm actually kinda glad the ambassadors weren't out there, not that I don't like them (other than Hull), but this Hawks core/team whatever you want to call it, has done more than they have already. Time to stop living in the past.

Hell yes! This still sell them to universities. The UBC rep is completely insane because of how hard she has to hustle though. Apparently kids and their parents aren't as into enormous jewel-encrusted as rings as they used to be.

Nice to see the boys raise their game to the next level after going down 4-3. Need to work on their PK, but that 5-3 kill at the end of the game was killER! If this is the Saad we're going to see on a regular basis holy ****! Whole team was flying tonight, coulda had 8 or 9 goals.

I thought they looked gassed in the 2nd and it was a miracle they came out of that period ahead, but that was just me up in 326 with some fucking bozo leaning in front of me the whole game.

Who's in a twist? Just something I noticed about you. There's nothing wrong with judging others and being able to point out and degrade their past transgressions and inadequacies, lest we forget, as we know that change in some, at least Bobby Hull, just isn't possible.

Yeah, little light up wristbands, they were on the arm rests of every seat when you got there.

Patrick Kane had a really shitty (you could tell he read it right off a cue card) announcement about 4 times before the game reminding everyone that they need to put the wristband on to be a part of the celebration and "we will be out in a few minutes to celebrate with you guys"

Outshot the Caps 18-6 in the 2nd. Holtby's saves on Kane's breakaway, Sharp's PP shot and Hosa (the pass from Sharp) kept them in the game.

I'm not offended at all. Just pointing how you bring in irrelevant information that everyone already knows about (and for what point?). Beats me.

Because him being regarded as an ambassador to anything is a fucking joke. A bad one. So I'm not going to include him in that or call him by that title. I'm going to call him by what would define any other person here if they did what he did: a wife beater.
