He played not feeling well. Considering that he had a pretty good game since Q decided to jumble his line almost every period.[/quote]

Did I notice Sharp-Kane-Bolland oot there? WTF?

almost the entire 3rd period. I am guessing he was trying to spark Bolland. Other than that, I'm not sure. Sharp has not looked good since his return.

As fun as it is to go see the Hawks I am much more looking forward to my next trip to the UC, october 26, when my men's league team, The Chicago Outfit gets the keys to the building and the place to ourselves for the night. That's gonna be awesome!

So stoked for this...

Need an extra? Pez can vouche for my "skills". At least I'm a better skater than John Scott.

For those who are bitching about Pisani and his 5 on 5 skills, the guys at Puck Prospectus, who analyze player performance quantitatively, had Pisani as the worst player in the NHL last year in 5 on 5 situations, statistically. I'm not sure what they use for inputs (points per minute played, +/-, I'm guessing) and yes, it was with Edmonton, but the prognosis for better even strength play from that guy is not favorable.

I can vouch for your skills too based on Klems' game last year, but unfortunately we are full to capacity. We capped it at 20 and only had a couple extra spots beyond the guys on our roster and those went very quick.

But if you want to come and cheer on Pez we're allowed to bring fans and there are still a few seats available in the lower bowl. Just don't expect to see him pass the puck too much....after scoring 4 in our game last night something tells me he's gonna be shooting the puck every time he touches it for the next couple weeks.

I've been working on my release so I can get away from those 10 shot, 1 goal games I had been having. Gotta get that shooting percentage up, you know?

Yeah, well, I was hoping that was just a fluke because of playing for Edmonton and being injured, but now I'm starting to wonder...

I should go to the UC just so I can write up a review criticizing the play.

That would be hilarious. But how pissed would you be if you got there and found someone else sitting in your seats? We could have our first fight in the stand since the old Stadium days.

At the very least I hope a few people come out and yell "SHOOT" every time someone has the puck in of the offensive zone.

Have someone wear a Turris sweater and see if anyone dry humps him, then you will have discovered the elusive HF50

I might go up to the press box and do it. Remember I don't know anyone!

Another thing I noticed last night, how many times did the hawks miss the net? I can understand trying to pick corners and such, especially on good goalies, but on that kid making his first start just get it to the net, the rebounds would have been there. I don't know if we need to break out the shooter tutor just yet but that's something that needs to get better.

Yeah I noticed that a lot as well, they even said on the telecast that the scouting on the goalie was to go high and that's what everyone was doing, but there comes a point where you just have to get it on net. Eddie has a sane thought every now and then.
