Another OT featuring 7-8 saves by your new goalie.... but he is a sieve and gives up soft goals, guys.

They haven't been pretty lately, but I'll take the 2 points over 1 or zero any day of the year. Go Hawks!

This is certainly a game we deserved to lose....but Turco deserved to win. Glad he got the W. Rest of the team sleepwalked through the game....

Good goalie battle this one. Luongo actually played well despite the showing in the shoot out lol.

Turco though....VERY NICE GAME!! Def deserved it tonight. Some of those stops in OT were brilliant. He looked great all night. Actually deserved the shut out if not for that greasy powerplay goal against.

Loved the check on Kesler also Turco. **** anyone who says you didn't play that one right. LOVED IT!! 2 minutes for having huge balls on that play. Honestly penalty or not it was the save of the night. Kesler scores there and it would have changed all the momentum of the game. Brilliant.

Hawks deserved those 2 points. Not sure how the Hawks didn't they were pressing the Canucks all night long.

Incredible game by Turco!

Hossa was amazing again, surprised he didn't score. Toews also looked like a man possessed out there. Good to see.

Never scratch Skille or Stalberg again.

Cullimore/Scott were pinned in their own zone the whole night... bad pairing, not sure it was Cullimores fault or Scotts fault, it was just a bad decision on Q IMO. Both are slow, but can get away with it if their partner has wheels... together its just brutal.

Boynton had a really good game.

They were out there for 9 minutes and didn't give up a goal or commit penalties.... but anyways, here comes the Scott/Cullimore bitchfest nonetheless for no reason... will it reach 5+ pages like last game? Stay tuned....

Im with ya.. Luongo won the Canucks a point in my opinion... Canucks were forced to the outside most of the game. Turco was great... Icing on the cake was watching all 3 of our boys light up Luongo in the shootout.

Ugh whatever... Scott is absolute shit on ice.... Cullimore had a decent game for Cullimore.... still alot of sustained pressure in our zone when those 2 are on the ice.

No shit... we all know he's not out there for his prowess on the ice so why the **** do people ***** about him for 5 pages straight even after a Hawks win? BLOWS MY MIND!

People should be happy when he has a "decent game for Scott" which includes not falling down and not giving up a goal (especially when he plays an astronomical 10 minutes).

But I guess this world isn't fun if people don't have pointless shit to ***** about...

Thanks for the greets Ton.

Marty continues to look stronger each an every game, hopefully the more shootouts we see the stronger he'll get. Lil bit floppy on Sedin and Kesler. Just barely poked away the biscuit from Sammy-son. That last minute of OT was friggin scary, but he came up BIG. Way to win this one for us #30. Nice diving poke to save a breakaway too!

It seemed like we sleptwalked (is that a word??) through most of the third period. Seeing how questionable our D as a whole has been made me pretty uneasy, but I'd have to say this was one of our blueliners best games. Seabs and Boynton stood out. Scott didn't play horrendous - just barely decent.

Kaner was sloppy tonight. In fact our passes weren't terribly crisp tonight at all. It'll come around though. Hossa continues to be The Chief. Louuuuuuser barely got a piece on his OT breakway.

Lou turned into Louuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuser in the shootout. Nice to see him show his true colors. Don't forget that you are our ***** Bobby!

I'll take two however we get them!

I know that post wasn't directed towards me Stu G, but just to clarify, I'm actually not complaining about the games they played.

I thought individually, both played fairly well.. but since they played together they really had trouble covering for one another. It seemed as if they were winning battles (yes I actually saw Scott win a battle along the boards and came out with the puck). However, when it came to that point it seemed as if their partner was nowhere to be found and they had no support for one another. Maybe it had to do with the fact that they are both slow and steady but IMO this is something Q should have picked up on.

I know Hendry had a bad game last game but I'd still rather see him out there just for the purpose of being a little bit quicker on his feet.

I may be the only one, but does anyone else notice that Turco flops around a lot?

Yup, he plays a very unorthodox style. Reminds me of a mixture between Hasek and Tony-O.

He might be the only goaltender in the NHL that still plays like that, its noticeable because most goaltenders are strictly butterfly 'tenders these days.

Not gonna lie, I find Turco highly entertaining to watch... goaltenders are all taught by the book these days... Turco says "eff the book, let me play." The guy is probably the most athletic goaltender in the NHL.

That unorthodox style of tending seemed to have slowly died in the 90's, and was nearly non-existent by the early 2000's... now-a-days, I honestly couldn't name another goaltender that doesn't play the butterfly.

Turco looks just like Hasek in the net. It's fucking entertaining as hell to watch. With the way he has played this year, I'll take it.

I thought Toews had a really MEH game. Definitely not one of his better performances. He was his usual strong self in the circles, but offensively I thought he had a pretty bad game.

Decent game all around. Still giving up way too many shots.

He has some of the best rebound control I've ever seen. If it's not multiple rebounds he's shooting them to the boards as they should be.

The whistle should have been blown on the only goal for the Canucks.

Crazy game!!!!! 2pts!!! Louongo is still a *****. He said "hi" to me on his way out of the UC. Hilarious!

The 4th line tonight, excellent. Stalberg-Dowell-Skille > Eager-Frazer-Burrish...

They are faster, have more skill and so far skate very well together. Now if only Q would leave them alone.

The 3rd line has issues. Pisani can not keep up with Bolland. No chemistry with Bolland and either player on that line, and IMO for a Center, that's needed.

Toews might have had his best game of the year. As a whole, while giving up a lot of shots, the D held the "quality shots" down. Canucks had only a few, while Luongo, much the same, earned a point for his team. I had a feeling he'd come out strong after last nights shit and unless the Hawks nailed him early, would get stronger as the game went along.

I thought for the most part the Hawks out skated the Canucks for the majority of the game. Unfortunately they did not get many bounces and Hossa did not connect on either break away.

4 in a row. 5-2-1 to start the season, a season MOST had WHINED they lost so much and would have issues. Well, Kane-Toews have yet to find the groove and Campbell has yet to play a game. Even without those TANGIBLES this team LEADS THE FUCKING LEAGUE and Division with 11pts in 8 games. Pretty fucking solid if you ask me. Niemi who?

STANLEY CUP CHAMPS!!!
