I don`t think it`s a great idea to ever lead off with a shit player who can`t hit an open net during regulation play. Why Stalberg gets to lead off a shoot out is beyond me. I don`t understand why coaches don`t lead off with stronger shooters as you score first in a shoot out it typically boosts your goalies confidence and the following shooters.



Yes Kane and Toews also failed and Craw did pretty damn good besides getting burned by the last Avs shooter.



I don`t know I just don`t know why one wouldn`t start off with a strong shooter esp if you are shooting first. Send a message!!



I don`t think Q coached a very good game overall to be honest. Toews lifted the team out of what could have been a 0 point game with his goal at the end of the second period. I didn`t see Q doing anything to light a fire under these guys through those 2 periods when they looked flat and were not moving their feet at all. A coach needs to ball up and adjust shit when that happens. LUCKY he has one of the best team leaders in the game!!!



I am happy with the point cause after 2 periods watching the boys play a little flat with no help from their coach i wasn`t really expecting a come back in the 3rd but the Hawks earned the point. Q did not!!!! And starting Stalberg in the shoot out was a fucking horrible decision...it just was. Hell you don`t even have to start with Kane or Toews you could play a hot hand like Hossa or even Bolland. BOTH BETTER CHOICES THAN STALFUCKINGBERG!!! Frolik even at least the guy scored during the game. Stalberg did nothing that game to earn a shoot out spot.



But with that said...**** the shoot out. Had Stalberg scored I probably wouldn`t be so mad lol.



Stalberg sucks.

Brunette needs to get off that fucking line with Toews! He is behind every fucking play!!!





Nothing else really concerns me about this team so far other than these 2.

He doesn`t have NHL hands and he loses a lot of board battles. Obviously he is in the league because of his speed and his work ethic cause there isn`t much else too his game. At this point if you don`t have hands for the NHL level you aren`t going to get those hands.



I don`t think it`s about motivation Strom. I do think he is motivated. Hard not to be motivated on this roster and with this talent around you. I think it is flat out his overall skill level.

for not playing well they out shot them 38-24, and just completely dominated the shit out of them in the 3rd. Montedor missed a wide open net which would have given them the 1-0 lead.



Avs are a very young fast team. No shame in taking 3 of 4 points from them, although they easily could have won the game tonight and I guess gave a point away.



Shoot out is a joke no matter who wins so who the **** cares.



and for all those wondering why he chose Stalberg he is lights out in practice. He also had Varlamov beat just didn't hit the net.
